I tried to reset the settings by long pressing the power button and held it till it shut down (the first time) and then held it till it comes with the first boot up beep and then left it when it beeped the second time, but got nothing on the display. Do those 2 beeps come one after the other or a few seconds gap?
The console seems to be working fine on my CRT TV using the composite cables. What else can I try?
they will give you a new sealed console as a replacement, they open the seal in front of you. atleast that was the case with me.Ethan_Hunt said:Thank you for all your responses. I don't think they even touch the console, leave alone fixing it. From what I've heard, they just replace it. I'm sure they don't bother upgrading the firmware. They just hand over the replacement console as they get it, which I believe are refurbished ones. In any case, I just pray that it gets replaced soon. A month's wait would be agonising.
