CPU/Mobo Does Asus A8V Dlx support booting form USB HDD , pendrives ?

I am Raam from Blore, just waiting to get myself a Asus A8v Dlx based upgrade. I had this doubt which I could'nt clarify anywhere.( even from Asus Manuals ) . Does the A8V dlx board support booting from external USB HDD , pen drives etc.
The manual says the BIOS boot menu is dependent on what devices exist at the time of boot. That does not clarify if USB boot is allowed or not. Has anyone tried this and does it work ?

Also basically I am looking for a 5 - PCI slot 939 pin socket mobo. Any recommendations apart from A8V ?

i have got a8v-mx, and i was able to install os (ubuntu) from a usb CD drive, so i guess it should boot up also

Do you really need AGP? Else get an A8N-E. Its cheap and good.
