Perhaps a user perspective - average of scores over a lot of options. How do you think other critics such as IGN, Metacritic, Gamestats, Gamerankings etc rate their reviews?

I did not quite like Fallout 3 - maybe I should skip this one too!

Having both views is good when both work as properly. But this is not the case with this game. Some times the camera automatically gets stuck at a position somewhere between the 3rd person and top down view and that wihtout anything from my side. Scroll wheel doesn't work if I want to go back to 3rd person. To Fix the problem. I have to scroll my way to top down view for a while and then I can scroll back to 3rd person. This is a damned nuisance at places if you want to use 3rd person view all the time.

As for my rating of 9.5 or 9.8, I think this a great game, but not perfect enough to deserve a 10/10.

also, does anyone here agree with me when I say that it aint the most good looking game around?

Guess i was spoilt looking at the trailers :P

imho it looks just about as good as Oblivion.. and oblivion is oollldddd..

^^ Its not the best looking game as far as the outdoors are concerned. The characters are exceptionally well done a la Mass Effect, but the outdoors are poorly done. There is no grass (something even Oblivion had) and the trees are a blurry mess). Still its not too surprising considering its a multi-platform game. That's why I can easily max out the game set 4x AA and still get 80~100 FPS on avg.

lol.. i can max out most settings minus the AA.

starting to hate the brownish green tinge that everything has.. not to mention the blood splatter on the characters

never faced that issue
maybe because I move with both mouse buttons held & use the fully zoomed view

finally after hours of hardwork, managed to slay the archdemon.. :D

now i really need to study.. >.<

Guys a stupid Q.... I loved Fable1/2 but hated Fallout3... Do you think I'll like this game?

I love RPGs and I'm a seasoned gamer. KOTOR, KOTOR2, Oblivion, Mass Effect, etc. I finished them all. But, BUT, I'm always paranoid that I may not being playing the best/most efficient way possible. Call it an obsessive compulsive disorder :P Hence my post ;)
