Dummy account on Facebook-Someone trying for threatening...

I thought to share this incident with TE colleagues with hoping to get some help.

Someone has opened dummy/fake account on Facebook with using my daughter name. Fake account name is same as my daughter account name.

Fake A/c holder connected with friends of my daughter & keeps inviting other male / female students in her school.

After detailing & sequencing, I atleaset regonised someone from her school circle only & male student.

Initially, before 2 months, I ignored it & my daughter informed her friends to keep passive/mum with assumption that such activist may cool down with having no response.

Now, I am worrying coz he's still on the board regularly down the time even after 3 months.

Any solutions ? Worrying being Father of Teenage Girl...
 
Report it to Facebook and also contact cyber crime. I don't know how to contact cyber crime but someone else can help on this.
 
You can trace him only if you lodge police complaint. I doubt that Facebook or other USA websites will comply with Indian laws. Best option is to lodge complaint with Facebook saying account is fake.
 
I recall one incident on TE tracing sucessfully a teenage guy was creating "fake" account of TE members & was trying to misled all..... If remembering correctly, this guy spotted & traced by TE only...

just moment before, he vulgulary invited to my daughter stright way with putting her photograph ....
 
yes, he is from her school only. But not sure who he is?...
called cybercrime no given by ayanavish, as expected only ringing up... though trying till the eve...
just calling up school principle..
 
Ask your daughter as well whether in recent times any guy approached her or proposed (and she rejected) or anything she can remember or any guy he thinks MAY be the culprit.
 
yup, it happens many time and every time she informed me well...
infact, she always keeps nature photo / baby photo in account but once uploaded her friend circle group phone & that bugger done crop her photo from it. She oftenly visit FB & rarely using it.

Notable point here is bugger done crop along with ONLY ONE (GIRL)FRIEND of my daughter. Other girlfriends from that photo he not selected!
 
Complain to FB. Other than deleting that account, they won't do anything. and yes, he may create account again. Just send him a message and threaten him that you are gonna complain him to cyber crime (kids these days know what it is) and also complain to school/college principal. Tell him you have collected his info like IP address etc.
 
When you are sending the mail check if you can send him tracking image from spypig.com as soon as that person will open the mail or message you will get his ip address, browser detail ,browser version,os. Once you get his ip address just threaten him that you got his ip address from police and threaten him if he doesn't delete the fb account they will trace him and put him in jail .

One way to pick a thorn is with another thorn. Create a fake FB-id in the name of a girl, create few days history, contact him with that fake girl's FB id. These types will connect with you soon. Impress him and get his contacts, email-id at least. Once he is physically traced, rest is up to you.

You will find this convulsing, but this can work.

I concur with creating a different account though. But it also means, you don't have any legal standing after that. You are also impersonating someone.

But i will still do it.

Not really sure that would work with GMail as Google is now caching images on GMail. Maybe with facebook messenger, but wont work on Gmail - you will get the Google server IP.
