Trackers - Discussions Thread

I still have a lot of albums on red I want to snatch. The tokens are never enough. I was thinking of asking @crytt to help me get some albums using the recent gift tokens red gave on its anniversary, in return of me grabbing his single seeded flacs so he could reach his desired user class, however I was afraid of getting banned as the staff might detect a pattern, and it may come under ratio manipulation. The request section is also very active here. Ops is handy, but the offered forum on Red is unbeatable. I used to download albums on rutracker then got to know about redacted (and the overall tracker game) from some reddit post. So yeah, I am one of those minority users who actually joined red for music lol.

Sorry, I intended to write BHD

If you have requirement for album,I can download it for you.

I have like 2 TB buffer on RED and I have never used that tracker . Got invite from HDBits when it was new and people were saying it's hard to get buffer so wanted to check out.

I can upload it on gdrive to share with you.
I'm not saying pay for the seedbox forever, just until the desired user class and upload stats are achieved.

I have home server with 64 TB total capacity which seeds all time 24*7 , having 6 KW solar at home help with electricity.

By seeding all time have accumulated like tons of upload buffer.

All top 3 tracker are very easy to get by on HOME setup

Does anyone have an invite for RED ? haven't really got into a music tracker since the what/waffles/exigo/pedros age due to spotify but i need some lossless files I'm unable to find on soulseek.
Ratio proofs will be provided via dm.
Don't really want to go the irc way since I don't have the time.

Which seedboxes are that cheap? a decent one at hostingby.design for me costs around 1000RS. I am running a local server for jellyfin, so I offload the seeding there when seedbox getting full.
The cheap ones are without streaming support. Checkout seedhost.eu 2TB shared box plan & ultra.cc 1TB plan (it seem to use cdn network so probably the best seedbox for Indian users as far as upload/download speeds are concerned from their servers to your home). For even cheaper ones but without streaming support checkout https://www.sokloud.com/ but their cheapest plan only has 100GB space.

that's the 4tb one, why not get the 2tb?
I am into Remuxes of Movies and TV shows, so 4TB is also getting full. I also keep seeding as long as I've disk space. I've also set up an intel NUC locally to offload the seedbox.

If you are seeding large file then local server will be the cheaper option.

How do you make the home client connectable? What your server configuration is? Is that can stream HD+ files over apps like Jellyfin?

you don't, you get by bonus points and the occasional upload, as for streaming via jellyfin, on local network it'll work just fine and over remote, it'll depend on peering and your internet connection.

As long as you don't need to transcode anything, anything will work, you don't need any hardware.

P.S. can you even stream remuxes from your seedbox without lag? on a good day, I get at max 40mbps from my seedbox on ftp

Any Leaseweb based box saturates my line quickly. Usually I just route traffic through one of my vps on leaseweb or eranium for good peering and I’ve never needed to transcode.

woah desicd still exists? I remember it from my teens but then fell off trackers and torrenting for some time after that
When I started uploading on PTP to reach higher user classes , I came to realise that as time goes by my older torrent keep getting trump with better Rip.

So what I did on PTP was ,it was lacking indian movies DVD , so I started buying them in 2010s as they were cheap ranging from 50rs to 200rs. So for every movie I get 2 upload ,one being full DVD and other one being smaller file DVD rip.

Now these are untouchable torrent as no one can trump full DVD. Haven't uploaded anything on PTP since like 5 years .

Yes , D3si.net, same as PTP , buying stuff from Amazon, flipkart, olx ,from local music store (now they all are closed.)

ah damn nice! unfortunately doesn't work anymore kek, ****ers there are way too quick, I mean some folks are torrent kings and still snatching little uploads for power user plebs like me, I tried going the dvd route, and just as I was about to upload it, some other asshole raced me to it.

only realistic way to upload on ptp is to find other countries niche content and upload it. I have made my peace with PU and have already gotten into the trackers I want, so it doesn't effect me that much
i do subtitles for indian films, that keeps me good for a long time, other than that it's a race all the time.

on KG I am assuming? I dont think PTP accepts user subtitles?

ah nice, I have a leaseweb from HBD, and at max I get 50mbps with Jio/Airtel fiber
