CPU/Mobo E6750 at 1.6Ghz ?

^^ this mobo hardly has any settings (intel after all) all settings are proper

I just re-installed the RAM and put my PSU in turbo mode ( i dono what this does but a blue led comes on at the back )

and guess what??? its back.... the CPU speed is back to normal

EDIT: im pretty sure it was the RAM, it was being detected as "DDR2 -640" :S:S in everest... its back to ddr2-800 now

Well the OPs board would not have CnC, for sure. For the OP, there has to be some setting which need to be turned off, which is preventing the board to run at full speed. If you can take some pictures of the BIOS, and post them here, we can try further.

OK. Here are the pics of bios of my Gigabyte GMT785G-UD2H mobo.

I updated the bios to the latest i.e. F8.

People who have same mobo kindly go through the pics and let me know if you have different settings in your bios so that i can send my mobo for RMA.
