I was chatting with ebay customer care on same topic yesterday
when i asked them ebay could have mailed all users that offer would be ending in middle all of a sudden. . atleast some body waiting for lastminute call like me and you could benefit
weird answer i got that how can it be possible to mail all customers,ebay has huge user database. he questioned me like is it really possible?

its like ebay ran out of numbers,hence shut the offer in middle of road
instead they could have swapped the gifts with new ones

funny that diwali offer ended 10days before diwali
 
^^ Even i had a chat with ebay customer care.
He said that we never assured the end date of the assured gift scheme.
We fell out of stock so we have come up a with a NEW AND BETTER SCHEME.
After hearing this line, i just cut the call.

i guess diwali assuered gifts offer ran for just 1week,if i'm correct ..

even they cant stock items for sales of three weeks

Ebay.in behaved like a third grade marketing company

its so stupid and funny that they provide 10% coupon after we make 10k worth purchases with no benifit. not even a cashback

i think ebay top bosses and marketing guys living in the planet pandora
