can any kind heart help me to buy some stuff from ebay , i don't have and paisa pay . i will pay you the amount

Did you check if the item has a COD option? PaisaPay is nothing but usage of a credit card / debit card / net banking account. If you have any of those you can use PaisaPay

Guys, I bought this http://cgi.ebay.in/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180686229254&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT yesterday since I was in dire need of cheap thermal paste. I got this email today morning from the seller. Very long, but read through it. It's very informative-

From the Desk of Chief Executive,
‘BattleaxeWorld’
Dear Mr. Seenivasan ,
I welcome you on joining the family of BattleaxeWorld. Thank you for becoming our esteemed and valued customer.

First of all, please permit me to introduce myself. I'm a retd. Air Force officer; a senior citizen who came to eBay for buying a USB WiFi adapter for personal use. But when I saw the prices, I got shock of my life and decided to become a seller myself; to create some awareness among sellers; and buyers too.

Therefore the very purpose was to provide a quality item at reasonable price. The Prices of, mostly all local & duplicate, thermal Paste are somewhere 200- 500 on eBay. One cannot ascertain the quality of the paste as even in New Delhi's Nehru Place market, its being sold in 50 gms small bottles and it appears as if metal oxide "Safeda" used by plumbers with thread to join water GI pipes is put inside. And taking the advantage of Cooler Master goodwill ,all sorts of fake items are doing round in the market. Perhaps on the eBay

The purpose of selling the High Conductivity Silicon Thermal Paste for Rs. 90/- and Intel original Thermal paste for Rs. 210/- on the eBay , is just to give out a loud & clear message about the actual prices to the buyers. Where just one set of Fastener/clip is being sold for Rs. 99/- on the eBay and Thermal Paste for about Rs. 200-550/-, I wanted to establish the confidence in the buyers and to some extent I've succeeded too. But then it won’t be possible to change the trend overnight. Especially when eBay is charging up to 5% on the final sale price; whereas Paisa Pay is charging another 4% ; then obviously the seller will also try to fix exorbitant price for his item besides adding up to 10%, that eBay is taking away. By selling Thermal Paste for Rs. 80/-,(Chinese), & Rs. 180/- (Intel Original), I was able to tell the other sellers who are selling it for more than Rs.160/-. And about the quality; I used the thermal paste myself on Pentium EE 3.733GHz/2M/1066 before listing it for you all.

You'll be surprised to know that after you "buy" any item on eBay, you are presented various options which a seller chooses while listing his item. These options could be:- 1. Paisa Pay, 2. Cheque, 3. Demand draft, 4. Pick up & pay, and 5. 'Other' (in this option buyer can pay either by NEFT online transfer or by ATM transfer). Now very interesting thing is that eBay charges a seller approximately 4% commission/fees when payment is made by 'Paisa Pay' option. However no fees/commission is charged when buyer selects any other option. Now since the seller does not know what mode the buyer will choose, he invariably adds 5% Paisa Pay fees in the price. eBay do not disclose this fact to the buyers that the "Buy it now" price includes 4% PP fees. I strongly feels that all buyers should contact the seller and ask him to give them at least 4% rebate and they will pay him by online transfer. I would like to clarify here that all your purchases up to Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only) are covered under eBay guarantee even if you wont pay thru Paisa Pay. Otherwise too as mentioned in my listing, under "Terms & Conditions" you can always file a complaint in the consumer court - in your own city against the seller. That's it. Don't you feel that "Buy it now' price should not include 4% PP fees and only if buyer chooses to pay by PP then he should be informed that he'll be paying 4% extra for eBay's additional guarantee - which is nothing but holding the payment till Buyer says that he had received the item. Many buyers exploit sellers and sellers list their item at much higher price then the prevailing market price. Sellers also pay up to 5-7% as "Final value Fees" to eBay.

Unfortunately, most of the buyers are not aware of the fact that even if they do not pay thru ‘-Paisa Pay’, just like you had paid, all their purchases are still covered under eBay guarantee for & up to Rs. 10,000/-. I therefore feel that all purchases made below Rs. 10,000/- should be paid for using online transfer (NEFT) after asking the seller to give proper rebate of at least 4% in the price –especially of items costing above Rs. 1000/-.

I took up the matter with eBay about mentioning it in my listing that should customer decide to pay by online transfer, then buyer can reduce the listed price by 4% and transfer the amount into the seller’s bank account. The eBay flatly refused. I then started mentioning that buyer can transfer the amount by online transfer - by NEFT or by ATM. The ebay got very scared about this ATM online transfer using credit/debit card at any ATM in India and transferring the money using ATM/Debit card no. of the other person. Ebay changed its policy and put ban on mentioning about direct online transfer into seller's account wef 10/5/11 . This can only be implemented again if lots of buyers file their protest with eBay. Logically while purchases up to Rs. 10,000/- are covered under eBay guarantee, then why customers be made to pay additional 4% for Paisa Pay. Just calculate on item costing Rs. 6500/- for example. Buyer lands up paying Rs. 292.50 extra on it. And that’s a big amount.
Can you imagine that in Nehru Place market of new Delhi, a seller does not make this much profit even after selling a LCD monitor for Rs. 9500/-. (He has lots of overhead expenses to be met). The margin in Computer parts & peripherals are water thin and a huge competition. I did mention in my listing that 550 computer parts & peripherals could be offered to the buyers at Nehru Place, New Delhi Market prices. The best prices are of Computer Empire & Cost 2 Cost Computers at Nehru Place, New Delhi. The cost2cost has even put his price list on the net and keeps updating it regularly. Just Google ‘cost2cost’ and you’ll get price list PDF. That is the best prices. Even I buy from there – without bothering to check the prices in other shops, wasting time & energy.
I am therefore inclined to offer to all the buyers on the eBay, thru my listings that they can check this Cost 2 Cost Computer Price List on the net and inform me of their requirement. I will first tell them the additional cost they had to bear, like VAT, handling & shipping and then create a private listing for them on the eBay. eBay pulled down my 26 listings due to my offer of offering 550 computer parts at Whole sale market price of New Delhi. I dare all sellers to sell their products at similar competitive prices. I am the only seller who had dared to mention about 'Consumer Protection Act 1986' under which a buyer can file a complaint in his own city.

If you feel I am right in my perspective then please spread a word among your friends about it. It would be only when such listing will start appearing on eBay that sellers will mend their prices. For all costly items where this 4% can make lot of difference, let buyer contact the seller and make him agree to allow 4% discount and thereafter buyer should buy on eBay but pay the seller by online transfer thru ATM which is the fastest, safest and charge free mode of online transfer.
