I saw a post in subreddit called Amioverreacting where a Black American is saying that she is scared of Trumps actions & speeches and want to relocate to Europe as fast as she can and was asking which country is good.
One World War 2 veteran was saying that this is exactly how it happened in Germany during 1930's, The rise of Fascism seeing the Elon Musk Nazi Salute and all
1st Deportation, (Especially Minorities)
2nd Segregation,
3rd Concentration,
4th Extermination
He is saying now we are in 1st phase.
Even American LGBTQ community is scared and all other minorities who came from Asia are scared as hell that how will they be treated in the future even though they have American Citizenship.
Some are advising that black women & LGBTQ to come to Spanish countryside because the country side people are more open and if you work from home then it is much easier to get housing also they are saying.
Even others suggested Netherlands but there housing crisis was going they are saying.
Yesterday Trumps sides were saying about H1B visa extension was reduced from 540 days to 180 days and restrictions on spouses living in America.
This is getting darker day by day.
What kind of twisted things we have see in the future I was thinking since my relatives & classmates from my 12th are all in US but don't know whether they have citizenships are not. So was hoping if our Modi can work something out because he is going on a official visit in this month of February,2025.
Here is the reddit thread that I am speaking:
An interesting article from UC Berkeley News in October,24 which predicted about what is happening right now in America & what might happen in future :
Fascism shattered Europe a century ago — and historians hear echoes today in the U.S.
After the mass death and destruction of World War I, with their economies shredded by inflation and unemployment, Italy and Germany turned from democracy to dictatorships. UC Berkeley scholars see troubling parallels in contemporary American democracy.
