Energenie Power Meter - Kill-A-Watt for India - ~ Rs 800 shipped

Only an electrician can find d leakages by isolating and cutting power to various circuits step by step. I do not think any gadget on its own can find leakage.

So how effective is this?
i will be spedning 1675 onn this energy meter, will this help me to reudce my power consumption, in what ways as the energy meter helped you?
 
Yes, Watts , current voltage, unit kwh

For me it just made me stop blaming my pc for high bills. Turns out my pc only consumes less than 200 Watts
 
I ordered the energine from uk ebay. Got the shipping confirmation on 11 may. Yet to receive the package. Hope its not lost in transit. No idea where it has gone. Usually I use to get the ebay uk shipment within 10 days

I lost my first shipment. The seller was kind enough and has resend the shipment as a signed shipment . Recived it today and works like charm. Does any one know if i can connect to a refrigerator for finding the usage or will it be an overlOad fir the meter
 
^ i had connected it to my fridge , the old model not this one, & after that my fridge stopped working, dont know if it was energine which caused it because i noticed it later , some part in the freezer stopped working .
 
Did you got it repaired ? What was the problem . I fell into a similar situation but can't remember correctly if the problem occurred after using energenie.
 
^ i bought a new fridge , it was a 10 year old fridge , it was frost free but , issue was no cooling in the fridge & ice formation in the freezer .
 
Similar thing happened to me as well. It is a 8 year old fridge and stopped cooling the lowe r compartment. Only ice buildup in freezer. Not sure if its because of enèrgine
 
Have a Meco Power Meter with the Power Factor feature. Works accurately. If anyone requires one, can pick it up for 1800. I stay at BG Road, Bangalore.
