English TV series discussion

Finished with White Collar. The season 5 ended with a cliffhanger. Looking forward to next season which is supposedly it's final with lesser episodes (6 I think).

I started with community today, saw first episode and did not find it intriguing enough. When does it pick up ?
Also yes community is cancelled it seems now.

Trophy wife is cancelled. I sometimes feel there is no point in watching new shows. One of my earlier favs - The lying game also got cancelled. Currently downloading Fringe. Whew, that series has already completed. No more disappointment.

That is why i try to not watch new shows. I hoard them but don't watch. I just started community and yesterday only read it is cancelled now.
Parks and Rec's next season is supposedly its last. Same with white collar.

Now that Blacklist season 1 is done, i will be watching that (since i had watched first episode but still will need to rewatch).
Also we do have Under the Dome starting but if they don't make the series more interesting, i have a feeling it can get canned. I hope it does not.

Started the Arrow !!
Liking it from pilot season........but i think story can be more briefed especially about the Ollie's past.
That would make it most interesting.
Now reached on ep 6, lets see........for how much long it can hold my interest.

No Jack Bauer fan !!
Waiting to get back home for e03.
Are you sure? I thought the e01, e02 setup was very cliched (in 24 terms). The worst part yet -- hmm Jack doesn't have a room full of computer nerds at his disposal to "bring up that camera feed" so lets give him a wiki leaks type hacker movement. I might just watch it for old times sake.[DOUBLEPOST=1399971816][/DOUBLEPOST]

I think season 2 is where it picks off - we have Deathstroke, Brother blood, bronze tiger (a bit lame though), Black Canary, Flash, and lots more. :)

^LOL. Yeah sure. Though not a HUGE fan, but had watched all 8 seasons and after a break, I found pilot eps as expected. :) gonna continue.

I could not get my self to continue to watch Fringe. Gave up completely. It was getting too hard to believe.
I would advise you to first watch one season. Then decide whether to continue or not :)

I actually liked fringe a lot. I know the concept is different but I loved it. Last season was so so though.

Its about time we create a POI thread. I think TE has many POI fans next to GoT.

and that honor should go to the person who first mentioned this show ...

ie me :P ...just kidding i was close ..

[h=1]Critics’ Choice Awards Honors 8 New Shows[/h] Alcatraz, Apartment 23, Awake, Critics' Choice Television Awards, Falling Skies, New Girl, Ringer, Smash, Terra Nova

Seven broadcast and one cable series made the cut in the Most Exciting New Series category at the inaugural Critics’ Choice Television Awards. The category, voted by broadcast journalists who have seen the pilots and any available episodes, recognizes shows premiering after June 1, 2011. Some of the most buzzed-about new series, including NBC’s Smash and Fox’s New Girl and Terra Nova, made the list, while others, including CBS’ Person of Interest and 2 Broke Girls and ABC’s Pan Am, didn’t. Here are the honorees (there will be no winner in the category, with all eight shows acknowledged at the awards show June 20):

Alcatraz – Fox – Warner Bros.

Apartment 23 - ABC – 20[SUP]th[/SUP] Century Fox

Awake – NBC – 20[SUP]th[/SUP] Century Fox

Falling Skies – TNT – DreamWorks

New Girl – Fox – 20[SUP]th[/SUP] Century Fox

Ringer - CW – CBS Studios

Smash - NBC – DreamWorks/Universal Media

Terra Nova – Fox – 20[SUP]th[/SUP] Century Fox

So, who is excited about this? A new show from JJ Abrams and it stars our very own "Ben Linus". :D The plot looks similar to minority report which should make it really interesting! Premiers tomorrow.
