Just completed Daredevil and Arrow can go cry in a corner as it's just been bulldozed. Charlie Cox really nailed it for the role of Matt Murdock. This show is more visceral and being on Netflix, it obviously enjoys the TV-MA liberty. Though they haven't pushed the language or nudity barrier and regulated that completely. But it's brutal, in the sense that the amount of beating Matt takes and few others too is way too high to get back up the following day. The stunt choreography kicks some serious arse. Being the old school hand-to-hand combat fan, this show satiates your love for it. I liked that in Banshee and definitely digging it here.
I never held Daredevil in very high regards among the superheroes list and Affleck's portrayal had pretty much nailed the coffin shut on the character. But this show is something different. It takes time to build the character, shows the back stories and has very little to none of The CW style drama thrown in (Thank heavens for that). Vincent D'Onofrio was brilliant as Wilson Fisk. His back-story was a true revelation of how he eventually turned out to be.
The final suit seems to resembles a lot like Deadpool's costume, not that I'm complaining though. Great finale and looking forward to the next season.
