English TV series discussion

guys suggest something to watch after modern family [ basically all major series I have watched twice or thrice now]
started yellowstone but found it to be trash

Original book series still not finished so tv adaptation chose to create its own ending.
Geroge Martin is a clever guy. He didn't finish the book, so the makers had to try their own imagination and destroyed it. Too lame in few threads.
Now all the good feedback went to martin only.

"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain".
That one quote from Dark Knight has been applicable to so many people and organisations over the years; the recent example being Elon Musk.
If they re-release The Dark Knight, I'm definitely going to the theatres to watch it.

Re: Please Suggest an English TV series

If you like sci fi:

Battlestar Galactica

Stargate SG 1 & Stargate Atlantis

Startrek: Deep space nine

A new series started called Lie to me is also good.
Check Out Foundation on Apple TV , it's one of the best sci-fi series I've watched .

Foundation is at best 6.5 or 7. Season 1 was a load of corny sci-fi tropes thrown together. The essence of Foundation, the nuances of political intrigues and technological colonialism is lost to fight sequences and explosions. It is fun to watch nonetheless.

I think in recent decades, The Expanse has shown what a good scifi should aspire to be. The series was so good, I finished the remaining books 7-9 within a week.

I'll have to give The Expanse a watch then .
I mostly agree with what you said about Foundation and another thing I'd like to add is that the CGI is top notch , the sky bridge falling down was one of the best CGI scenes I've seen in a long time.

Have you watched Lost In Space and the new HBO Dune series ?
