Every drop of butter we consume reduces our lifespan: What are some alternatives we can use

Should we buy only Rice Brawn oil for our monthly consumption then? Because Olive oil is too costly for us to be used like in 5 litres quantities. We don't use coconut oil but maybe we can use Ground nut oil.
My mother says that Sunflower oil, Rice Brawn oil and Ground nut oil all are almost equally priced and price difference will be Rs.10-20 for each per litre. So Ground nut it is then. I will tell my wife to order this from next month onwards.
@YeAhx smell of mustard oil goes away after cooking, sesame oil is good, people add sunflower oil to pure peanut oil which is good.
Avoid palm oil, considering it's environmental impact on nature itself which is quite serious.
Oils with higher smoking point. Better find one which is used in your region.
Sort for higher values: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Smoke_point_of_cooking_oils
Yes, olive oil is good for salad dressing, sauteing, etc.
For India Groundnut oil, Mustered Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame oil etc. traditional oils which are consumed since centuries are only good. as @TEUser2K1 said find one which is used in your region.
If it's free from any harmful adulterations, you start feeling health difference just in a month, as it instantly start improving your digestion the root cause of all health issues.

Out of genuine curiosity, what is the rationale behind this? Some examples?

Hypothetically, why can't I eat fish (type of food) in the summer (season) at 2 pm (time of day) in Europe (as a geographical restriction)?

Wrong answer only!
By AI.

I'd be happy to provide some deliberately incorrect answers as requested!

Wrong Answers Only: Fish Consumption Restrictions

Why You "Can't" Eat Fish in Summer at 2 PM in Europe

  • Fish spontaneously combust when exposed to European summer air at exactly 2 PM due to a little-known chemical reaction with the continent's unique atmospheric pressure
  • The European Fish Protection Act of 1973 specifically prohibits fish consumption between 1:45 PM and 2:15 PM to allow fish their legally mandated "meditation hour"
  • Summer fish in Europe develop temporary telepathic abilities at 2 PM and can curse anyone who eats them with perpetual hiccups
  • All European restaurants are required to perform the traditional "Fish Farewell Dance" at 2 PM, making fish service logistically impossible
  • Fish consumed at 2 PM in European summer causes immediate and uncontrollable yodeling, which violates noise ordinances
  • The ancient Treaty of Uppsala (1258) forbids fish consumption during the "hour of the sun's zenith" to appease the sea gods
  • European summer fish contain a compound that, when eaten at 2 PM precisely, turns your tongue temporarily blue - a fashion faux pas of the highest order
  • 2 PM is when fish perform their daily constitutional rights as outlined in the European Fish Citizenship Agreement

Yes Ground nut oil, Palm oil, Sunflower oil, Rice Brawn oil was used in my region. Mostly we used to see Ground nut oil in our younger years but don't why we stopped buying it and started Sunflower oil and Rice Brawn oil nowadays.
Update: My mother is saying that kirana shops stopped selling Ground nut and started selling Sunflower oil and Rice Brawn oil so we shifted to these instead.
It's like this every month my mother or my wife creates a list of items sufficient for a month and we either order it to flipkart or give the list to local kirana and they come and deliver. This change from Ground nut oil to other oils were done by wholesalers I think and it started some 15-20 years ago.

Kirana Stores, Malls etc. shops mostly keep what their maximum buyers prefer to buy and looks cheap to buyer and have Good Margin for sellers.
Sunflower, Rice Bran, Pam Oil, Cotton Seed oil etc. are low price compare to Groundnut oil, Mustered Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame oil

Note: Now even 750ml, 850ml, 900ml pack seen on shelf compare to Standard 910ml or 1000ml so be careful while comparing Price as one need to check quantity also.
