External Hard Disk suggestion

I'm looking to buy a new external hard disk after one of my hdd's crashed. With the availability of newer brands like verbatim, iomega I am really not sure what to should go for.

Requirements: 500 or 640GB
Price: Within Rs. 5000

I would suggest you stick to WD or Seagate, For 500 Rs more you can get a 1TB drive?

i would suggest u go wid seagate... i'm using it and am satisfied with it...

If you are fine with 3.5" ones and don't want super portability, check the WD 1TB my book edition which comes well within 5k.
