extract nokia mobile backup

guys is there any way to extract Nokia mobile backup.
i have some important SMS (total around 700) and i have taken backup of my 6270 before i gave for repairs. now it wont get repaired and i want to buy new phone. i just want to know if we can extract that data and place on some other phone????
i want to buy one cheapo phone which can just store unlimited SMS.
no camera, MP3 or anything.....

Any suggestions ?????

look for any cheap symbian phone. Ngage would help you in this, should be 5k in market if you search.

Well , you need a symbain phone for that ... el'cheapo and symbian phones wont go side by side to what i know

guys i have backup of Nokia 6270. it is not symbian phone.
if i take any cheapo symbian phone will it accept such backup ????
