Hi,
this is the final time i wud be posting about this. :ashamed:

- intel mobo original D850 and pentium 4 1.4GHz processor (mayb damaged partly/fully)

- seagate 40GB HDD (with bad sectors in first few GB...)

- RDRAM 128x2, 64x2 (needs to be checked whether working or not.. was working when i tried last year! :P)

(some network cable wires and LAN card may also be there.. no second PC here now.. so dono what to do with it too)

if no one interested in these parts, atleast provide suggestions how to clear off this e-garbage!

thanks in advance...

Interested in the 40 GB hdd. please quote ur lowest possible rate.

as for the other parts perhaps some kind soul would donate you a working compatible p4 cpu and then in turn you can donate that working m/b + cpu + ram combo to some poor student or muncipal schools whatever ...charity is good for the mind and soul.

awe...I'm feeling sad about that trash thingy.....my bad :ohyeah:

Second that decision - donate it if you can get it to work. In fact I donated one of my PC's (a pentium 3 933 MHz, with 512 MB PC 133 memory) to a convent school during christmas last year. The feeling of doing something so simple yet looking at the smiling people around me was worth the pinch of giving up a working rig. That PC is still being used, and runs windows XP, also has a Geforce 2 MX 400, mobo was one of the best D812EEA orig intel.

Though i'm not much of a believa in blessings, its nice to know that you made a difference somewhere (besides TE of course :bleh: )

I still have with me one of the P3 ASUS Classic boards - the P3B-F this was considered one of the best ever to be made by ASUS. I have this with Micron ECC Lifetime Warranty 256mb SDRAM. All this cost me a BOMB when I bought them ... today I think paper weights will cost more then what I would get for them :(

well.. nice suggestions for donation.. but u ppl forgot tat its damaged.. cant work on pc. only useful for research and playing with..

the service man had said the proc had got over heated and hence cos of that heat, the mobo is also damaged..

i had bought myself new pc last year, but these pieces remain as such at home.

abt RDRAM: i will check and post it in a while.

@deejay: check the pm i m abt to send :P
