Darky ,it may be decent from a build quality perspective but a 5200 is not a decent card nor are the 5700 or even the 9550/9600 decent cards now.
Definition of a "decent" card:
Atleast 40 fps in doom3 high quality at 1024x768 :D

Ahem ...Undertaker,
I am talking about value cards,it is a decnet card for noobs isnt it?
I am aware that the 5200 is piece of shit, you think i dont know that ??

Undertaker, can u even expect this card to play Doom 3 at 1024 x 768 ?

The max these cards are capable of are 800 x 600 in any of the games released recently.

Anyways, I think casual gamers have a variety of options with Intel GMA 900 and nVidia's 6200 PCIe Turbocache.

That would be unfair on ATI's part as the Doom 3 is optimised for Nvidia's architecture a decent card would be giving 40 FPS in HL2 or any other Pixel hungry games at 1024*768 at medium quality. 9600 pro can be termed as decent but right now I wouldnt recommend anything below a 9800 pro. Infact thanks to ATI's pricing policy 9800 pro has become a good buy again at 120$

Same can be said for HL2-its aritificially tweaked for ATi.Infact DOOM3 is much fairer than HL2 in that respect.Forget the FX performance in HL2,which was low only partly due to design flaws and mostly due to valve's illicit affair with ATi,even the 6800 doesnt match up with the X800s in HL2.Go figure...
As for the 9800pro -its a very decent chipset and it may be $120 ,nut its certainly not for Rs. 5500($120)here.
And ATI's OpenGL suport has always sucked.
Cheap hardware is half the reason I am running to the US in Aug.Hopefully forevever. :P
