Since FPR type 3D is being branded as the next generation of 3D, should one stop buying SG type 3D TV’s altogether?

People have different choices when you compare them based on technology so It's quite hard to say about a particular technology phasing out when a new technology pops out.
As far as the glasses are concerned, I would FPR do have an edge over the SG types but a lot of people still go with active tech.
I personally adore Passive tech as they are light weighted and also seems to have a better PQ as compared to SG.
