Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Guys, is 1200 RPM sufficient, or is 1400 RPM worth the extra cost? waiting for a killer deal or should I wait!

have an IFB 1400 RPM , definitely worth it, feels illegal to throw it in and get clean clothes, feels the same as using a dishwasher

1000 is sufficient for most of the cases. Anything above 1000, it has more impact on the fibers of the cloth than extracting water from it.

Samsung AI front load - Looks beautiful, just a jog dial and no other buttons. Heavy enough so does not tumble. 2 years trouble free operation.

Not a very convenient to use UI is it. I'd prefer to see all options around the dial. Last thing I want to see is this style becoming more common.

Form should follow function and not the other way around
