Full manual camera for 10K

I visited my local shop and he gave a brochure of Fujifilm, and that had the Olympus 2980 on it, so I guess that isnt an issue.

Not sure about the Olympus though.

Will he help you with the after sales of the same incase you end in a pickle?

If he will, try to go for the FujiFilm S3300.

If no, then avoid and just get the Canon Powershot SX150IS OR SX 240IS [whichever suits your budget].

Hope this helps. Cheerio!!

The Fujifilm has a viewfinder.

The Olympus :(

That Fuji has an electronic one iinm. & I think there might be more options if you are open to an evf.

The trouble with any Fuji cam (& I'm generalizing here) is that it's either very good or very bad. Comparatively, with a Canon, Nikon, Sony, or even Panasonic, any cam you pick up is usually a good buy (again, generalizing). So imo, while with the latter bunch you're relatively on safe ground, with a Fuji you better have some solid reviews/forum discussions before making the decision.
