Budget 90k+ Future Proof PC for Home/Office

OK but you bought an "overkill" system. Should've invested more on the storage like I suggested if data is crucial. But oh well you are the buyer. GL on the use.

I placed an order for 2 x Corsair SP120 High Performance Edition Fans to replace the stock fans on the H100i.
Cost - Rs. 2150

I'll also replace the front fan of the Corsair 250D cabinet with Cooler Master Megaflow 200mm Silent Fan.
It seems to be out of stock everywhere right now.

I am thinking of getting two Dell U2414H monitors and use them like this: http://i60.tinypic.com/2pyp406.jpg
Will I need a graphics card then?

btw, Dell has quoted Rs. 18,800 for the U2414H, which is much cheaper than everywhere else. I haven't haggled with them yet though :D

U2414, with a resolution of 1920x1080, is an oddity in the Dell's U24xx line up. You might also want to look at U2413 or U2415. Both will give you 1920x1200 resolution.

IIRC, one of my friends got the U2413 for 15k recently.

Are you referring to U2415? I doubt even distributors will get U2413 for 15k, Its 28k in US and last i checked it was just above 32k in india.

It was definitely not 2415. Could have been 2412 though (which is again 1920x1200, though has CFL backlight). I has the chat with him about six months back.

^The price for U2414H is really Good. We bought it for 21k last week.

I haven't asked for any discounts yet. Hopefully I'll get a better price if I buy two of them.

I am definitely considering the U2415 as well. It is a newer model and the 1920x1200 resolution is another plus. Waiting for a quotation from Dell.

U2413 doesn't have a thin bezel so I am not considering it.

Got a quote of 35K for the U2415 :(
On US sites, the price difference between U2414H and U2415 is just $30 though.

Now that U2415 is out of the picture, lets see if I can get some discounts on the U2414H.

Bought these:

ASUS GeForce® GTX 750 TI (GTX750TI-OC-2GD5) - Rs. 11,500 from snapdeal
ASUS Xonar Essence STX - Rs. 8795 from ebay
CREATIVE T30 Wireless 2.0 Speakers with NFC - Rs. 7,400 from ebay

Also placed an order for two Dell Ultrasharp U2415 24" Monitors for Rs. 19,100 each.

Still looking for:
Bitfenix Recon fan controller
Cooler Master Megaflow 200mm fan
Keyboard
Mouse

So you originally got a quote for 35k for the U2415 and now finally got it at 19k ??? From the same source? Please elaborate how you managed to do that?

apparently Dell has two factories/warehouses from where they ship products. One is in an SEZ. So the prices depend on which warehouse the salesperson is sourcing the products from. Apart from that, some good old fashioned bargaining is needed :)

I got a quote for 35K first and then 29K after asking for discounts. After that I asked them for additional discounts if I purchase two monitors. They reduced the price to 23K. Then I haggled some more and got the price reduced to around 19K :)

This is the first quotation I received 2 days back:

then this one:

then I asked for discounts for two monitors and go this:

and this is the final quotation:
