Nope, but 9800 XT will kickass for sure (I know cause I own one). And Nvidia PR and mkting dept will all celebrate on creating a so very original naming convention...

:no: :| You forgot that they did not released 89XX donnno why :ashamed: they directly leaped over to 9XXX series :ohyeah:
 
^^One they didnt need to, and i guess they were preparing for the 9 series to follow the 8 series pretty soon so a refresh was probably canned

Edit: on a sidenote, i do have a feeling history will repeat itself for the 9xxx series
