Details of Samsung's upcoming devices leak on occasion but it's starting to become a mess – some devices seem to compete for the same segment and may indeed be the same device under a different name, while others may have been cancelled.

After the Galaxy tablets tomorrow, the next premium launch will be the Galaxy Note 4. SamMobile claims that with it Samsung will divide regions by chipset. North America, Korea, China and Japan will get a Galaxy Note 4 powered by Snapdragon 805, with different versions for all major carriers in those countries.

The international version all other regions (including Europe) will get will be based on the Exynos 5433 chipset coupled with an Intel XMM7260 Cat. 6 modem. The Exynos 5430 chipset was reportedly delayed, which led to its replacement by the 5433.

The Samsung Galaxy Note is said to launch with a 5.7" Super AMOLED screen of QHD resolution. The camera will be a new optically stabilized unit with a Sony-made 16MP sensor, the yet unannounced IMX240. In addition to the Galaxy S5 sensors, it will also add a UV sensor, presumably so that the S Health app can track your sun exposure.

The Samsung G906 was expected to be the Galaxy F / S5 Prime / Dx, but it may actually be a Korea-only phone (where it was certified), claims the Samsung-centric site. It will be based on Snapdragon 805 as the Korean Galaxy Note 4 but keep the 1080p screen of the Galaxy S5.

This means the fate of the actual Galaxy F is unclear. The Galaxy KQ Lite has reportedly been cancelled.

Keep in mind that these claims are unconfirmed and may prove to be false.

The so-called flagship devices are nauseating nowadays. Just hardware porn.. :yuck:

UV exposure tracking.. Seriously??

Still using the Note2 which is more than sufficient. The only probable reason that I may buy the Note4 would be because of the screen resolution and high quality audio support. Again...if they go and put a Yamaha chip there like the Note3..then I might give it a pass. I'm guessing the pricing will be obscene, as usual.
