yes, it happened with i9506Does flashing official rom with odin trigger knox ? Some forum posts say that it will
It's not Kites but Kies and ODIN is meant to be safe if you only flash the stock untouched firmware (downloaded from Sammobiles.com)
Sorry I never cared about Knox and Binary counter since day 1 of the purchase.Hey dude have you tried to flash official fw on a i9500 with odin without tripping knox or atleast the binary counter ?
Sorry I never cared about Knox and Binary counter since day 1 of the purchase.
Rooting in itself doesn't cause any potential damage and no performance issues or features disabled or functionality compromised atleast on Samsung devices, in short all gestures working, What is XDA for if we face any such problemsThats brave dude. And did you experience any performance issues or issues like some functionality of the phone like gestures or other features disabled after rooting your phone ?. According to CC rooting causes potential damage to the phone. I am not ready to believe this crap however i would like to get this confirmed.
thanx
KNOX Counter is to inform Samsung that you have been naughty and Knox app is for security in the OS so that malicious apps cannot gain root and if you remove Knox apps then private Mode may not work. What is the purpose of knox except giving warranty information ? Is there any use in it. ?
http://www.androidcentral.com/how-use-private-mode-samsung-galaxy-s5What do you mean by private mode mate ?. I don't have any knowledge about knox except the warranty information.
