@Bluffmaster- Man this game is awesome..!! I never thought that i could get this crazy about a RPG game..way above than what i expected...Today i played it like for 6hours non-stop...awesome..!

will definitely play ME2 after this.:ohyeah: Thanks :)

@Alpha17-I'll try Witcher 2 after ME2 then. As you all are recommending this game i'll try it out. :)

^Glad to hear that, trust me you are in for a treat with Mass Effect 2. :ohyeah: Don't forget to try out all the DLCs too, they extend the game by atleast 20 hours combined.

Are there any DLC's for ME1 also?

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Okay got it.

DLC1-Bring Down the Sky.(free)

DLC2-Pinnacle Station:"The DLC pack was released on 25 August 2009 to mostly mediocre and negative reviews due to a lack of content and ingenuity."

Source: Wiki

Have you tried DLC2 was it good or avoidable?

Yes, there are but they are unrelated to the main story and since you already have a better game at your disposal i.e ME2, you can give ME 1 DLCs a skip. I skipped ME1 DLC because the excitement to play ME 2 was too much for me. In the end its your decision. Also, do not delete your save game from ME 1 as you will need it in ME 2 to transfer your decisions of ME 1 to ME 2.

BTW, how much time have you clocked in ME 1? It took me around 20 hours to beat ME 1 and 45 hours to beat ME 2. But I played all the side missions and DLCs for ME 2.

I'm new to RPG's and my time is 16 hours(approx.) :ashamed: and I am where we plant a bomb(nuclear was it?) and then we get attacked by some guy S(something) who says he has allied himself with the Reapers. I think I'm slow also at some point i thought the game was about to end but it did not also it was quite shocking. So how much more game is left? Actually you know don't tell..:P I'm in love with this game.

I want to get surprised by ME2 so thats why i have'nt even read or seen anything of it. I hope to be surprised like i was when i played Assassin's Creed II after Playing AC1.(I started ACII just 30-40mins After Ending AC1). :)

Oh ... you are at the best part of the game where you have to make a very important decision/sacrifice which will effect the rest of ME trilogy. Its great you haven't seen much of ME2, you are going to be very pleasantly surprised. :D Do pust here your experience. You are the second guy who I have converted to a Mass effect fan this week, the first being my close friend who like me isn't into the space-scifi genre but after playing a few hours of Mass Effect turned into a hardcore fan of the series.

No I've always been a fan of space-scifi...Its just that i never played any RPG based game on this genre.

I played (finished in 2 days) Mass Effect but it did not get me hooked as much as The Witcher series OR the older STAR WARS:KOTOR stories, maybe I need to go to Mass Effect 2 now.

Zaeed and Kasumi are both part of different DLCs. Although iirc the Zaeed DLC was free.

haha...seriously it was awesome :D but well um.. I have 500 bucks for this week and will have 500 next week.Still thinking whether to buy ME2 or Just Cause 2. I will buy both anyways. :P

Which one should i order first? I toh Obv. want to play ME2 but want to give JC 2 a try....saw a gameplay where the guy is riding a bike on a mountain then jumps off a ramp and suddenly opens up the parachute then sky dive's into a lake :O...For me it was awesome and about ME2 I have'nt even seen anything related to ME2 but i know ME2 will be awesome. So should i go for ME2 or JC2 this week?

^Here you go : FilePlanet: Just Cause 2 Demo

Since you purchase your games (Respect), its better you download that demo and see for yourself if you really like the game. In my case, I too was bought by the hype and awesome looking videos but when I actually played the game, all my expectations came crashing down. The controls, especially on a PC are very clunky and the system requirements are quite high. Play the demo to check whether your system can handle the game in the first place.

As far as ME 2 is concerned, If I were you, I would continue with ME2 since I will not want to break up my flow. Its not like you had too much of Mass Effect, I am sure you are still not bored of the original. Besides, ME2 is such a better experience that you would enjoy playing it even more than ME1.

My configuration is:AMD Phenom X6 1055T,4GB DDR3,HD5770

It will be able to play the game just fine, i think  also I will play the game with Xbox Controller so controls etc will not be an issue. I obv. want to play ME2 but if i will end it then i will repent that i completed that game and next installment will come in 2012. :P So I think i'll go with JC2 now plus thanks for the Demo but it is too big..:(

^Yeah, you won't be able to play it at max settings@full hd. I have the same card and barely get 20fps on max settings in Just Cause 2.

All the game needs is a quad core! Most probably you'll max JC2 don't worry!

PS the game is EPIC + its super fun ! I'll replay it again soon also :D
