Games/Apps For Samsung Star

Hey guys me just got a Samsung Star S5233... :D

However I'm facing a few issues :@

1.Can't Install any apps or games :(
2.Samsung Star supports Java but it doesn't work when i install any java file :huh:

Can any 1 suggest Games/Apps for Samsung Star and also how to install them (I do not want to mod/flash my phone)

Also is there a good pdf reader that is supported by Samsung Star, the one that is inbuilt is a pain in the butt coz the screen does not resize and you have to keeep scrolling and zooming out,the slow interface doesn't help matters....

Plzzzzzzz help have been trying for the past 3 days! :( :ashamed:
 
Go to Darkforest Samsung forums for more info...... The easiest way to install apps would be through wap... upload your .jar files to wap-upload.net through your PC connection and then download through wap.wap-upload.net on your phone... should work in most cases..... Hope it helps...:)
 
i dunno abt the star but my samsung support JAD files for any installation google for jadmaker and just paste the jar files over the application it will create another file (JAD) of 1-2 kb put both the files in the other files inside phone mem. and click on the JAd it should give u the install option.

Note phone mem not mem card
 
Currently the Star only supports java app installation thru GPRS. Darkforest has some firmware which will let you install these but it is not for the Indian version (S-5233).

You need to wait for sometime, Darkforest is currently looking for firmware for the indian version.
