Games for Non-GFX Rig

Guys i upgraded my system from E2160,2GB DDR2,HD5770 to AMD Phenom X6 1055T,4GB DDR3. Problem is i haven't bought any GPU and not planning to buy untill HD7xxxx Series is released. :D

But till then i have an On-Board HD4250(ASUS M4A88T-M LE). What games can i play on this? Any good old games that are worth playing?

I haven't played Max Payne series also i have and old game,Matrix Path of Neo....Will they run on my System? Any other worth playing games?

Will be gaming at 1920x1080(Samsung Sync Master B2330) but can compromise if the game is good.

I want some good 3rd person shooter type game not racing one...btw I've played every NFS games and ended most of them except Shift 2.
 
Why don't you try playing the Monkey Island series? Try the remakes of Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 : LeChuck's revenge. Amazing voice acting and hilarious plot :). You may find you're into these old school adventure games. You could try the new ones like Sam and Max later on, and the Tales of Monkey Island series.

I am thinking of Monkey Island series,they seem good.

Also anyone what about Max Payne Series?
 
If u like rpgs ... " the mother of all " Diablo , Diablo 2 with LOD , ElderScrolls III : Morrowind

A +1 for Max Payne, it definitely is worth playing. Such a classic it is. Also, you could try the old Medal of Honor games if you haven't played them, they were great games. If your into RTS, then the Commandos series is also worth looking at, I think that they will run on your rig (atleast the older one's will). :)

Stealth titles, I can't think of many to try on your rig except the first Splinter Cell game or the first 2 Thief titles. You might want to try and see if they work. I'm not sure.
 
^^ Aah... UT 2004 is also great. Also, the AoE series maybe if you still like it. I was never into AoE but Commandos I truly recommend in RTS.
 
The return to castle of wolfeinstein(the old one),Commandos , Claw are few which i can remember so far ... will certainly add on to the list if i remember more.

World of Goo is such an awesome game! The writing is so hilarious, and the gameplay is so varied you won't be bored for a single moment. And the game has a way of creating a kind of unique epicness in some moments, which is just awesome. :eek:hyeah:

Trust me. Play World of Goo. It is the greatest indie game ever made in my opinion. You won't regret it. And lots of great reviews to support my suggestion.
