Need to buy a good gaming cabinet other than CM690. Am confused which one to buy. Please suggest. :)

Budget is within Rs 5K.:)
 
NZXT Lexa Blackline could be called a gamer cabinet and is around the 5,500 price tag, although I'd still say that the CM690 beats it by a lot.
 
CM 690 (more fans,more bling )/ Antec 300 ( better build quality )

I'd chose the Antec 300 though people say that cable management is tougher in it I'd still prefer it over the 690.
 
How good are the following .

1. CM 690 NV Edition
2. Zebronics Anti-biotic
3. Antec 900
4. Thermaltake Xaser VI MX

I have checked reviews of Antec 300 and the build is definitely better. I wanna buy something which will be spacious ( Not much) and would help me do some cable management. Has anybody got Antec 300 and it is better than all keeping in mind the price?

Please advise.:)
 
I have a antibiotic and its ok for the money, the build of the case is good but the front panel is really sad. Why dont you also look at the B2 from Zebronics, its big and the build is pretty good.
 
on 5k u will not get any cabby better than CM690 .:ohyeah:

is this cabby for urself ?
if yes , then it will be better to increase ur budget n get better one , probably Full Tower .

if u can increase ur budget to ~7K ,u can get CM810 stacker , Antec 900 & others . OR get CM HAF , it retails for ~9k .

For the fans bundled with the A300/A900/A1200 and their superior build quality and finish, I for one would definitely vouch for the Antecs against the CMs (at least the 690 in this case).
 
^I didn't find the A900 build quality to be that great :P and there is a price difference of nearly 2.5k or so. Infact i found the A300 a little better.
 
The question I want to ask OP is what does he mean by a gaming cabinet. Some say it means good ventilation whereas some say for looks. The last time I went to prime abgb where they had a1200 and a900 alongwith cm 690. I have seen someone using a900 and struggling with cable management. cm 690 is a much stronger built and quality compared to antec 900. On top of it, cm690 has good amount of space- half of the credits is for cable management alone. If you are trying to get another case just because many people have it- many people have it for really good reason. And you can eventually mod it via KMD or on your own. No point in having so many fans if cable management cant be done. Choosing built over looks does come with a pretty large compromise.
 
^^ +1 for the CM- 690.

i am myself using a custom modded CM -690.

performance wise it's really good..ive installed 5 120 mm fans ..:P

and the cable management is top notch..just took me 45mins-1hr to make the the cabinet look almost cable free from the side panel.

looks are also good after the modding..though it might not look like a harcore gaming cabinet..but it does look sober.
 
CM 690 NV Edition - Great mid tower case.

Zebronics AntiBiotic - Sucks comparing the other three.

Antec 900 - Much better build quality , looks great as well.

Thermaltake Xaser VI MX - No idea , yet to try out a Thermaltake Chassis.

Antec 900 > CM 690 nVidia > Thermaltake Xaser VI > Antec 300 > Zebronics Antibiotic

If i'm not mistaken , the Thermaltake Xaser VI is a full tower right? :detect:
Anyway , I'd recommend you buying the Antec 900.

Finally I ended up buying a second hand (7 months old) CM690 for Rs 1200. It has got scratches inside the side panel but its alright. WHAT MORE CAN I EXPECT. :)
 
OMG !! CM 690 for 1200 .nice deal..
even if its not in really good physical condition ..you can get a paint job and mod done from KMD and it should be as good as new ..:ohyeah:
