Finally got the Acer Aspire 5740G.

Specs:

# 2.26-GHz Intel Core i5-430M CPU

# 15.6-inch (1366 x 768) display

# 4GB of RAM

# Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

# ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU (with 1GB of video memory)

# 500GB HDD

Cost me Rs. 44000/-

Came with additional mouse, headphones, laptop bag and a laptop security cable.

Just got my hands on it. (no pics yet ).

tried out crysis warhead (gamer settings), farcry 2(high/very high) and stalker:CS(Full Enhanced lighting, high) ... all ran smoothly ... approx 35 fps on all the games . Need to update to v10.4 drivers and check again.

Moreover Win7 is so awesome and damn lot faster than vista.

anyways , have fun with all the gaming goodies , I think I will see around if Dead or Alive beach volleyball can be played on pc , gonna give it a try @ high graphics, *yyumm* hyeah:

And oh yeah Win7 rocks... and core i5 too ... whew !!
