guys please suggest new cpu+mobo+gpu for 45k sold old stuff using athlon ii 240 temp.thinking about sandy bridge 2500k.hope they ship new mobos by march first or second week.also i need just for gaming hyper threading doesn't matter much to me.if i can save some money from above config suggest some good cpu cooler.and some fans for my cabby

my rest of config is coolmaster 690 ii advance cabby(default fans), corsair tx 650 w,gskill 2*2 4gb ddr3 ram 1600 mhz latency 9,got new sound card audiotrak Prodigy HD2 advance today using with audio technica m50s headphones and altec alansing 2.1 speaker.dell u2311h monitor,hope i don't need to upgrade this stuff
 
Core i5 2500k - 11.8k
Asus P8P67 PRO - 12k
HIS AMD HD6950 2GB GDDR5 - 16.2k

Total: 40k.

If open to Xfire then 2*MSI HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 - 20.5k

even i was thinking about crossfire.will my tx 650w sufficient enough to run two cards plus i may overclock 2500k to 4.5 ghz on air without any change in volts not more then that
 
i5 2500K is very power efficient compared to the Current LGA 1366 i7's and also the HD6850 is also not a power hog with a ~128w TDP. So IMO the TX650 will suffice.
But not sure whether you can push it to 4.5GHz. 4.3GHz seems to be the sweet spot. 4.5GHz only if you get a cherry.
 
I5 2500k - 11.8 k

Gigabyte GA p55 A UDR3 - 8.8k

HIS 6950 2GB - 16.4k (can be unlocked to 6970 if you are lucky)

Total - 37k

Take corsair H70 if you want a good liquid cooler without the hassles (believe me liquid colling will have so many pipes that you will start crying) it is for 5.5k or save some money and hassles and get thermalright venomous X

(3.75k) or Tuniq Tower 120mm extreme (3.3k) both give performance so awesome that you can overclock to 4GHz easily (though tuniq tower looks effin cool !! The fins are b-e-a utiful !!)

Get another chip of ram of same 2GB (can you use a separate type of ram ? If you can get corsair 4GB 1600Mhz for 2.6k) an get yourself enough 120mm fans for fillin all available spaces in your case (half cold air intake and half for hot air out) for a50 as they will allow you to overclock to 4.5Ghz (make sure you have enough 3 pin / 4 pin on your psu) http://www.theitware...case-p-935.html

While 6850 x fire should cost 21k but there are going to be price drops soon (i think)

Can we put different types of ram like 2 gskill rams and 2 corsair rams ?

And also can I personally ask something ? What is dual channel memory ... And 4 dimms (amount of slots . Right ? ? )

These questions are for the other guys and not specifically babloos
 
iam not a big overclocker.how much defference does it make from stock to 4.3 ghz in gaming.orelse i would go with 2300/2400 they perform same as 2500k in most the reviews plus they can get turbo boost 400 ghz

even if there 3-5 fps i will go with 2500k.most of the times i will playing on max settings with everything turn on(maxx AA,AF @ 1920#1080),so every little fps does matter to me

The non-K versions of the Sandy-Bridge series cannot be overclocked + if you don't plan to overclock, on stock they perform pretty well taking down the heavies of previous generations Core i7 processors.

If that is the case get yourself a the Core i7 2600K. It is seriously a bad oversight on your part to comment like this, Intel has planned it in such a manner that all overclockers who don't buy a K-series processor can't overclock, so it is upto you. I would say if you want to overclock go for the 2500K if not the 2400 should serve you well.

going to cost another 3k over my budget.won't be overclocking.what i meant was turbo boost with non unlocked processar

The GPU that u r suggesting to most ppl is not even available... (i am looking to buy it too :()...PurnamTech doesn't have 6950 2GB GPUs in stock neither HD6950 1 GB GPUs... I dont know when in the world HIS cards stock will arrive...

*Disclaimer: If willing to wait to wait a bit HIS would be the way to go.

Else the MSI and Sapphire also priced similarly and one can opt for that.

True, last quotes I got for these cards for Sapphire models

AMD HD 6950 --> 16.6K (inclusive taxes)
AMD HD 6950 1 GB --> 15.5K (inclusive taxes)

For what joy are you going for a i7 2600K, you will not overclock and you'll pay a premium for a OC-capable processor, best bet for you is the Core i5 2500.

where did i say 2600k.iam getting 2600 which is going aroung 14700 with smc international compare to 2600k for 16800

Dont give misleading information. HIS is no where compared to Sapphire.

Crossfire is NOT the way to go man. Its way too expensive ! Go for a better single GPU graphics card instead. Get your facts right...

HIS provides 3 years complete warranty whereas there is question mark over Sapphire's warranty period after Aditya infotech rejected a members 2.2 yr old card for RMA claim parts warranty is only 2 years. Even though a dealer came up with a letter saying its 3 yr warranty it again doesnt go into the parts+warranty details.

The HD 6850 Crossfire(2*10.25k->20.5k) beats the HD5970 (fastest single card in the market and costs 30k+) Please care to read around a bit before posting gyaan in the forum :|

If you want to OC then the 'K' series proccy is the way to go. The 2600 is not very VFM IMO. The i2500K is the best VFM proccy in that range.

Keep in mind that you can OC the non-K processors a lot. IINM the max you could OC is about ~3%5%.

If you want to go for a non-K proccy and dont want SLI or Crossfire then go for a good H67 mobo for 6-7k and save some cash.

nah i will take p67 board decided with 2500k just saw few benchmarks,after overclocking there is quite an increase in performance for cpu intense games like crysis warhead,instead of buying 2600 will save extra 3k an some cpu cooler

so my combo

msi 570 gtx or palit sonic 570 gtx. another option HIS 6950 2GB which is for 16.2k compare to msi costs 20250 and sonic 20k.also i need suggestion on cpu cooler for around 3-4k plus some fans for my coolmaster 690ii advance it comes with default stock fans

Dont go for Palit. Service is not great. Warranty period is also only 2 yrs IINM. Go for the MSI GTX570 or HIS/MSI 2GB HD6950 ~16.5k
