31-40k Gaming Rig from old components

Hi Guys,

I am looking to build a gaming Rig from old components.
My budget is around 35K.

Processor - Intel Core i7 or i5 (should I go for 3rd or 4th generation or the 6th Generation) used ones.

6th Generation motherboard has the option to be upgraded to 7th Gen CPU. Z170 or H170 boards. Where can I get the components, any place in Delhi (Nehru Place shops)

Or just go with Red Team

Processor - Ryzen 1400 or 1500X.

while I don't have anything to boot about at this time.

1. Budget - 35K
2. Existing config - I don't have any (Old one I gave it to sister).
3. which hardware I am looking to buy
CPU, Motherboard, RAM, HDD & SSD, PSU, Case, Monitor, Graphics card. (I have not yet decided on any manufacturer or component)
4. Where will I Buy - Online, offline stores, Old rigs (anywhere I can get a better deal)
5. Used product from TE - definitely if the deal is good.
6. Gaming/Editing.
7. I dont have any brand preference - Price/performance ratio should be good.
8. Games Like - Deus Ex MD, Dirt, Gears of War, GTA V.
9. gaming or monitor resolution - 1080p
10. Overclock - Yes will do some. (will do both on cpu and ram)
11. OS - Windows 10.[DOUBLEPOST=1510275445][/DOUBLEPOST]One of my friend is selling his GTX 970 at 14K should go for it or get a RX470 8 GB which is being sold at 15K but its RMA'ed.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 3 1200 - 8000 || Intel i3 8100 - 9000
Motherboard - Any B350 board - 8000 or A320 board (no overclocking/Crossfire/SLI) - 5000 || Z370 motherboard for intel - 15000
RAM - 2x8GB Gskill Ripjaws or Corsair Vengeance DDR4 - 12000
PSU - Seasonic M12II520 - 6000 (or any other Seasonic PSU or 80+ bronze PSU from reputable brands)
Case - Any good case - 4000
Storage - 250GB SSD + 1TB WD Blue - 6000+3200 = 9200

As you can see, your budget of 35k is crossed and we have yet to get the graphics card and monitor. And this is with the cheapest AMD and Intel options. So, now you have to take a good look at the budget. Even if you consider only 8GB RAM and no SSD, the cost is around 32k without GPU and monitor.
If the budget is sacrosanct, then we may have to look at the older generation platform and settle for entry level Graphics card alongwith entry level monitor and still, I don't think, it will be within 35k.

As for your other question, my vote goes for RX 470 as its the latest gen Polaris GPU while 970 is slightly older and 470 generally performs better than 970 depending on the game.

Going for AMD build now as it will age properly and will give me bang for buck

If we take core i7 7700 CPU as a baseline R5 1400 has performance metrix of 80-85% I am loosing on a performance of 22-28% but the it's cost effective.

What about a mother board should for a good b350 board having good VRM and better heatsink. Or an inexpensive b350.

Any suggestions I am thinking of ASRock b350 pro.
It has 4+2 vrm with Bette heatsink.
And the budget is also around 9000. I am thinking of investing in a good mb so there can be upgrade option later with ryzen 7 in 2 years.

What about ram should I go with 2400mhz or higher ones

TOTAL -30,000.

Remaining you have to buy the following only if you increase your budget. AMD Ryzen does not have any iGPU.So you need a discrete GPU either from AMD or nvidia.
Zotac GTX1050Ti 4GB Mini - 11000,
LG 22MP68VQ-P 22" LED IPS - 9000,
Logitech MK200 -800.

Total: 20,800.
 
How is quickrr doorstep. Has anyone used it some sapphire rx 470 4gb is being sold at 10k.

That is an excellent deal! Of course, assuming everything is all right with the card and there is some warranty left.
 
Buying anything from Quikr? Always buy warranteed items that too first confirming the bill.
I have came across many idiots selling stolen phones with forged fake bill and claiming remaining warranty. Have reported the same to the original person and also police.
If somebody is showing bill, best way is to contact that shop mentioned on the bill and get it transparent.
