hey fellas!

i am facing a strange problem since the begining of this monsoon

my CPU -
e5200
s2l mobo
2x2 ddr II
seagate 7200.11
8600gt

is giving signals to monitor 11~15 seconds late after i push the power button:S...earlier it was 2~4 seconds!:(

Getting the late response isn't the biggest concern but after that i get a blue screen error just after the WINDOWS has loaded sayin" DUMPING PHYSICAL MEMORY -10%....50%...100%"
System restarts after that and this time i don't get the error ......instead i get a message sayin "system recovered from an unexpected shutdown"

Note:The error occurs(generally)/(only) when i make a fresh new start ,not when restarting during the boot process!!

I am unable to disclose the problem sector ....but seems like a GFX card issue?

Please help me out .....im not havin a good time these days

lost 50 bucks, keys of the netbook not workin, this stupid PC problem, broke my hand watch so the 4gb pen drive:(

Help me!!:(

UR mobo has onboard video, why not test without 8600GT ? That could help rule out whether it's 8600GT acting.

and test each individual stick of RAM with memtest.

You'll have to isolate and identify the problem. BSODs are mostly attributed to GFX issues initially, then may be other components like RAM. Test each part for its stability, as Mod Scorpion says try booting with your onboard video and using the PC for sometime. If you dont get a similar problem, the GT is the culprit. Similarily try the same for your RAM, or you can test them in a friend's system.

Also do mention the PSU you are using.

yeah PSU could even be a problem since it's a local one:ashamed:

but doesn't seems so..

okay Sidhu ..as per ur instructions i removed the gfx card and tried to run with the mobo graphics...

It works fine after that but unfortunately it means that my graphic card needs a fix!!

Another thing which i forgot to mention earlier is that sometimes no signals were send to the monitor even after the system had fully loaded..and this was fixed when i switched the PC off and shaked the port interchanger between the LCD and the card( i hope u understand ..i don't know the particular term for it:ashamed: )

now could that interchanger be a problem ?

and i also got an extra wire with LCD which seems to be different from the one i use..probably it's port is like the interchanger's gfx port!!

should i use that?

sorry for the stupid language but it seems as if my n00bness is going to achieve new heights today!

also i find some dust under & over the GPU fan..so would it safe to blow a vaccum cleaner over it to remove the dust?
