Bought the below mother board in Jan and did not use for more than 15 days, since I moved to AMD setup, as mentioned in the below thread during the disassembling process, I have bent few pins (4-5) on the LGA 1700 socket.
www.gigabyte.com
I wanted to fix it myself using few tools, but I really don't have that patience and also, I do not have the supported CPU to check if everything is fine.
Also, I was planning to take it to a local repair guy, but they take their own time, and I do not have the patience to follow up.
The current status is there are 4 minor bent pins, which can be easily moved back to its original position
There is one pin bent the opposite side, which needs proper tools to move it back to its position.
Selling it here for an offer which I feel is decent and I am sure this can be fixed and its worth the risk, I had paid 11.5K for the new board, this is a 14th Gen & DDR5 supported WiFi enabled board
Hey Guys,
Few months back I purchased a Gigbabyte B760M G AX Motherboard
I was disassembling the PC (since I moved to a AM5 setup) and during the disassembling process, I might have bent few pins on the LGA 1700 socket without my notice/knowledge
I am noticing 3/4 pins are bent and the rest of the socket looks in good shape.
Is there any way to fix this ans save the board? or any service centers in and around Bangalore (fine to ship it outside Blore) who can get this fixed?
