Ahem, have you ever used a Copperhead over a prolonged period of time ?

The sensor is fantastic, infact definately the best amongst all MS mice I've used and the MX518, G5's also (even though its the same engine)..

Plus shape is a killer, streamlined body and 100% ambidextrous..

yes i have. any person who knows a bit about sensors or is serious about gaming will tell you that laser is nothing but a marketing gimmick which doesn't work well on all surfaces. that is why i said the sensor is lousy. it doesn't work well unless you are lucky enough to find a pad that complements it. most new optical mice do not have that problem. they work on glass, steel, aluminum, plastic, cloth and whatever else mousepad manufacturers use these days. also the 1ms polling rate which razer advertises for the copperhead doesn't really hold up most of the time. you get a lot of erratic polling with it which isn't good. the shape IS good though.

the diamondback WAS great, while it lasted.

@iosoft, whatever you meant by that.. it wasn't funny in the least bit. i'm just posting my personal experience here with razer products as some people who would like to hear first hand experience when buying something expensive may find it useful.

@ ashR, Ive had a Copperhead for a year now. And nothings wrong with it. been using it with a Mantis, b4 that i used it for sometime with a QCK+, dkt, and even a Firepad recently.

Yes, the 1000Hz polling sucks, thats why I run it at 500 Hz. but i feel the mouse is better at 500 Hz anyways. Lol.

Nothing is wrong with the Sensor. Thats just Razer "Overclocking" its sensor? ...

I dont know about the CopperHead, but i sure love m DB LE. Been using it for a year and half after upgrading from MS Wheel Mouse Optical. I like both the DB LE and the WMO equally! weird but true.

The only grouse i have with the DBLE is the 2 buttons each on either side. the 'dot' protrudes on either side poke into the skin and are painful after playing for a couple of hours. I dont use these buttons for additional functions anyway, so i wud prefer not having them. As these 4 buttons are absent in the Krait (and the same buttons are more friendly in the CH), i guess it shudnt be a problem.

i have used a MS wheel mouse optical ...and it gave me nuthing but pain. i dint find it ergonomic or maybe my hands are different .. lolz. i think the krait will just be perfect for peeps like me who like comfort + looks + brand (ms had to tie up wid razer for the HABU ...that itself shows how good razer is ..lolz)

I can guarantee those prices, and maybe lower if there are even more orders.

Im in talks with abhi to try to reduce the price even further. but dont be too hopeful, V-Street needs to earn its share too .
