YES !! YES!! its Iceman. a well deserved championship.

Even last year he had bad luck in quite a few races with engine problems at McLaren.

The worst thing that could possibly have happened has happened again to Lewis.:( He really deserved it but I think runners up is still more than what any rookie has ever achieved and could have hoped for and he will definitely get one in the future anyway.:)

Hamilton should have won, it just wasn't hes day today...first he runs wide off the curve in lap 1 and then drops to 8th, THEN if that wasn't enough, he then had gear shifting problems and dropped another 10 places. But still..it was an amazing race on Hamilton's side coming from 18th to 7th.Good race by Kimi as well.:hap2:

Can't wait for next season, no traction control:ohyeah:

I was at a dinner outside when someone called up to tell me that Lewis had a problem  .. came back home and witnessed the best, most fitting finale for a formula one season (last 7-8 years :P) :ohyeah:

I still have to admit though, best season I've ever watched since I started watching the sport back in 99. Absolutely brilliant performances by most of the teams and drivers this season. Action up and all the way down the order like never before.

As for Kimi, this really was a long time coming. I have always been a Kimi fan right from his debut in the Sauber where he managed to finish every race and in the top ten at that, I think. Fantastic racer who managed to secure many a pole position in qualifying last season but had to ultimately relinquish them on account of the McLaren car being shit. A good trade-off for sure.

amazing race.. the odds were way way way against ferrari.. unbelievable

Absolutely !!

In sporting terms, this is only rivalled by SA chasing 434 runs against australia !!

Waiting for Kimi to win a championship for last three years (ever since he stepped into a championship winning team Mc Laren). He finally did it this year after coming close to winning it 2 years back. Not only did I see him become the champion but also saw a smile on his face for the first time during an interview. :hap2:  :hap2:

Lewis Hamilton was simply unlucky today.

Alonso seemed uninspired.

Probably the best part is Lewis and Alonso still have 109 points each (despite Hamilton being 2nd in the championship and Alonso 3rd it does mean must have done better than most 2nd place podiums right!). So who is the better driver between them?

Hope to see an answer to this question next year.
