Unbelievable!! Well done KIMI!! :D :yahoo:
What are you guys telling me!!:O
Kimi won!!:O
Kimi actually won!!:O
That n00b won!!:O:O
I gave up on F1, thanks to
(1) The lame schumi/ferrari fans- mind you- the lame ones who support them just coz it's cool to do so and have no freakin idea of the sport.:cool2:
(2) the bad luck that plagued Mika first and especailly after i saw Kimi go down the same path.
(3) Kimi's start with Ferrari wasn't that great too and thanks to my lousy cablewala, i gave up on cable TV too. :(
I have to catch this race. :ohyeah:
Somewhere, somehow. :(
Ferrari deschumified. :hap2:
I can literally visualise QF grinning ear to ear, and maybe Ren too. :hap2:

I am grinning like the Cheshire cat:D- finally the true/natural racer wins.

p.s.
isn't there an 'AMD' somewhere on that car and behind that team. :hap2: :ashamed:

Kimi, Kimi, You actually Won.

Lewis, n00b biatch, Ur so undone.

All hail, the the new king, All hail the one.

Lets all get drunk, Lets have "Kimi" type fun. :P

I dont really know how many ppl here are gonna agree with me..

But when you sit back and look at the whole season, doesnt it reek of some really bad stuff??

I mean comeon.. the start.. Kimi goes to Ferrari, super-noobie joins de dreamteam, the dreamteam keeps winning.. and keeps squabbling.. Ferrari of all people in the world run into reliability issues.. Mech failures for godssake.. kimi keeps playing catchup.. never lets lewis too far out of his sights.. the Scandal of the century!! mclaren spied on ferrari.!!! damn..

then everything boils down to the last few races.. the noob who has been driving like a experienced pro for quiet some time starts making completely silly mistakes(shrugged off as noobie mistakes).. it all comes down to the last race, hamilton gets skewered.. sad start.. recovers a bit nd gets skewered again.. massa leads his home gp.. but kimi puts in one of THE great driving performances of all time and gets ahead of him!! mann.. its all just a bit too much for me to digest..

somehow i just cant seem to accept the fact that a season could have been this exciting.. something artificial seems to have tainted the excitement for me.. but thats just me...

coz despite all that i just said. i really dont care :P :P coz all that matters is that the IceMan in Red WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally kimi won the race couldn't have been better.won fare and square.i wanted kimi to win the title from a long time.:hap2:

yeah..the final race was really unbelievable..seemed like everythings scripted in kimi's favour. i was waiting for ages to see kimi take the driver's title. third time lucky and perseverance pays off. :D

Fabulous Race.....a dream start and unbelievable driving by both Kimi and Massa......

Never in my wildest dreams did I expect such a result...........

So much so for "Hamilton- the rookie world champion".....ha ha ha......if it wasnt for his ego he would have been rejoicing now ....but i thank him so does all the Ferrari fans in the world for his "ego".....

We should never forget Massa's contribution.....if it wasnt for him we would never have seen this day........
Even if McLaren had won the appeal to the spy case and had lost the appeal to Hungary (which they would have never won realistically had they gotten away free from penalty from spy case). The points would be like this:

Ferrari: 204
Mcleran: 203

This would have made for a close Constructor battle also; but in the end Ferrari won both championships fair and square.

FERRARI ALL THE WAY>>>>>>TRUE WORLD CHAMPIONS>>>>>

Well done for Kimi, finally got the championship he deserved.

Btw cynozure, Mclaren would have won, as they should have 218 points.

@ hitman....

Yes they would have eneded with 218 if their points in Hungarian GP was not chucked........

But they deservedly lost it due to their own internel rife....so that canno be addet....so 218-15=203<204 = > Ferrari wins.....

More than raikonen winning the title, im happy that alonso didnt :D

i agree with u. i hate alonso ever since he deliberately breaked early and forced david coultard to crash i believe in 2003 or 2004 season.

Awww crap, I missed my first F1 race of the season and it had to be this and thats bcoz of some boring ***** engagement function. bah....
Saw the race again this afternoon though. I didnt see any news channel just to make sure i dont know what happened but my cousin spilled the beans :@

The worst thing that could possibly have happened has happened again to Lewis.:( He really deserved it but I think runners up is still more than what any rookie has ever achieved and could have hoped for and he will definitely get one in the future anyway.:)

Hamilton should have won, it just wasn't hes day today...first he runs wide off the curve in lap 1 and then drops to 8th, THEN if that wasn't enough, he then had gear shifting problems and dropped another 10 places. But still..it was an amazing race on Hamilton's side coming from 18th to 7th.Good race by Kimi as well.:hap2:

Can't wait for next season, no traction control:ohyeah:

All I can say is the driver who does not WIN more races in a season than everyone else, DOES NOT DESERVE to win the championship. As simple as that.
It would have been really shame for F1 if Hamilton had finished 6th and won the championship with only 4 wins under his belt the entire season.
Kimi won most races in season. he deserved to win the championship. FIA needs to rethink its points structure and make it something like MOTOGP points structure. Keep more gap between Position 1 and 2 and then keep on reducing the points gap.
They dodged a bullet this season. ;)

If you remember, it was like that. But a certain German by the name of Michael Schumacher in a scarlet car steamrolled the opposition.

So, they changed the points structure to the current one.

Another thing in MotoGP is that there is a very large number of riders. The first 15 finishers get points. You cant allow that in F1 !!

Ya i know there are more riders in motogp but what i meant is that there should be more than 2 points difference at top.
Make it 20 - 15 - 11 - 8 - 6 - 4 - 2 - 1.
Or even 15 - 10 - 7 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
but the Winner should get major share of points. Top 3 should also get chunk of the points but Winner deserves glory.

I disagree, i believe consistency is more important than outright wins,
To me, a driver that has a record of 2,2,3,2,3 would be a far better driver than a guy who , manages 1,5,1,6,4 ..

I wouldnt change the points system, i would make the races more driver dependent - like the banning of TC from next year...

Also - Props to Massa - wotta awesome team player, hope he actually wins a championship one day.

Props to Alonso too - for playing the Villan role to perfection. A role formerly occupied by schumi. Say what you want about F1 being about racing, its personalities, stories, epic triumphs and crushing defeats that keep us hooked.

Last years championship was awesome because it was essentially "The punk" against the Vetran on his way out - kinda like Rocky....

This year it was the Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Kimi, Hamilton and Alonso)
O well, this year's Title race isn't over yet - Mclaren look like they are gonna appeal....
