Hell no. I would be in depression if tha unsportive idiot won.Ck Nish said:So he deserved it because he won? Interesting logic. Although I'm sure you people would be singing a different tune had Alonso won.
It was because of people like you that the old points system was changed.ApeX said:Nope...thats not the logic. I'm not saying they shouldn't reward 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.. but the reward for winning should be more than what's currently being given. The current point system discourages pure racing and drivers just go around in circles to get a clean points finish. Who'd want to risk a win for 10 points when you can get 8 easy points for being 2nd. Its not to say scoring a second place is easy but its relatively easier.
Points system should be such that drivers feel motivated to go for a win. Imagine a points system like 15-10-8-6-4-3-2-1 and drivers would do anything to score those extra 5 points. A win is a win, its priceless and any championship should take that into factor.
Schumi was winning everything in sight without any competition. Mika had run off to take part in touring car racing.
It is times like these which show Schumi as the real champion. When he was winning, you all wanted him not to win and the points system was changed so that the title race would be more open. But now, the same people want to change the points system to give more points to the winner !!

We would have certainly been singing a different song if he would have won coz no one likes a back stabbing teammate and a driver who doesn't like his own team and starts speaking ill about his team.
I absolutely agree..... So what if he drives well ? He isnt a true champion. Same reason the aussies are pretty unpopular. They play good cricket but they are so goddamn arrogant.
