Actually, Mumbai's scenario too is detiorating on the *ahem* front. There was a time when Alfa used to sell those titles like papers plates but now nothing seems to be available.Only a handfull of titles to choose from & that too selected stores. For me, Internet is the best place & then you have your pals who are generous enough to donate a lot of titles. Thanks to xXx for lending me all his PS2 titles. Now I am a busy man.:hap2:

hey, suggest place in Mumbai where I can buy *ahem* titles of PS2 PAL... :D

I prefer net, but I'm fed up of downloading @ low speeds :(

Almost all the shops selling the modded PS2's keep those DVD's.The older titles are very hard to find.Only the best sellers are sold.Any reason for going for only the PAL version?

^^ Most of guys use PAL version over here.. I heard PAL versions have huge library of titles.. :D

Outside Andheri station (west) near the ticket window you will get for 50 bucks. Also that guy had a huge library of games :)

Try and let us know...

^That would be a blind gamble.I don't think you can get it exchanged if it goes kaput when inserted.:bleh:

@Rahul: Not really.A modded PS2 will have the capability to play both PAL & NTSC DVD's.Most of the DVD's available in the market are of NTSC or NTSC/US.So don't worry about the compatibility unless your TV is so old that it doesn't support Multi-system.

Hmm, how about sharp flat TV which I bought 2 years back?

Easily. It would be better if you had it's model number or some details then we could look up on the internet for it.But it should be compatible.

Sharp 21CG81

Its not anywhere on Google, but it do support all types of DVD players and all..

No luck here too.Just check the manual if you have it & see if it supports NTSC signals.Alternatively, you can try putting a NTSC DVD to play it on your TV.If it comes up in a colour display then it does support NTSC colour system.

Arre.. I have PAL PS2 system, Yea I do have many NTSC and PAL both DVDs, all working great...

edit - My friend tried to find games on VT and lamington.. But he had hard luck to find *ahem* games for PS2.. Please suggest some good shops where I can have good titles :)

Hey where can I get good *ahem* DVD game titles for PS2 in Mumbai and Pune??

My friend tried to find games on VT and lamington.. But he had hard luck to find *ahem* games for PS2..

^Out of my support areas pal.Sorry.I know very limited places in Mumbai.Alfa was the biggest. Now I rarely buy DVD's.A few places in Borivali stock them. Not sure around VT & Lammy areas.:(

I think I posted about Ninja Traders - its near VT ... you can google for the address.

Ninja Traders, Shop No. 786, MK Shopping Centre, SS Road, Crawford Mkt,Mumbai,400001

Its in a place called "*** Enclave", I forgot the exact name. Its a very dingy market, and you'll have to look for it.Its near the starting point of that fly over that starts close to Crawford Market. ask around and get there. You'll get all kind of PC and console games their afaik.

Other places to look for games are Heera Panna (near Haji Ali), and Playstation Bandra. Playstation is also somewhere you can get your consoles "technologically enhanced" ! I will try and post its address as well. My friend has it.

Lammy has stopped keeping *ahem* games<PC/PS2/none> only original ones.

Try VT, Andheri, Bandra<station>.

If you're lucky you might find sombody selling *ahem* PC games.

It's really getting hard to get p****** games in Mumbai.

unlimited Broadband FTW.

I guess the best place for the same is Palika Bazaar<I've seen the place and it rocks, it's like an underground Lammy like mall>.
