Good 40" LCD TV ?

I went to a local showroom in West Delhi, Delhi. While comparing EX520 with Samsung 5series i saw D5500 with SPVA panel.....the D5500 was mounted on a thick pillar so was easy for me to bend and look at the back side of TV.Came back did a little google and found out that was SPVA.

D5500 in Thailand retails with SPVA even on 32".

To be honest i didn't find any difference b/w both panel types.

My personal experience wasn't that good, I recently bought the 40AV10E from a local dealer and then got it replaced the very next day with Toshiba 40PS10. The color reproduction was not that good on the LCD panel as compared to LED lit 40PS10.
