Good quality Display Port to mini Display Port cables/convertors?

Hi all,
Kindly suggest a good mini DP to DP cable, or a mini DP to DP convertor for the purpose of using a laptop's mini DP port to connect to a monitor. I already have a Display Port cable so if it would be possible to get a DP to mini DP convertor (if they exist) I would much prefer that. Otherwise a mini DP to DP cable of at least 1.5ft in length will do, preferably under 1000 bucks, although not a strict constraint. Thanks.

I use an AmazonBasics mini DP to DP cable and it works well.

Want to avoid amazon basics because i've had pretty bad experience with their mDP cables. Somehow I got 2 bad cables back to back from them, so wish to try another brand.

I've always had good experience with Amazon basics when it comes to wires. You can try this if you don't want that one, Dell should be solid.

I've always had good experience with Amazon basics when it comes to wires. You can try this if you don't want that one, Dell should be solid.

Did you find anything, I have a few years old, randomly used Belkin adaptor https://www.amazon.in/Belkin-4K-Mini-HDTV-Adapter/dp/B013P0JTX0 lying with me, which you can have as chances of me using anything with mini Display port are slim as now most laptops ship with a HDMI port

I was looking for a Mini DP to HDMI adapter for my father as he wanted to use a bigger screen alongside his MacBook Air 2017. Since I wanted to repurpose one of the several HDMI cables in my possession, I pinged @tommy_vercetti after seeing his post.

To my surprise, he literally gave it away! Even during the harsh Mumbai monsoon, he managed to courier it to my hometown in West Bengal. Words are really not enough to express my gratitude, but here we go: thanks a lot!
