I ordered a Nexus 4 16 GB from the German Play Store for (358 euros) late yesterday evening. It's estimated delivery period is 3-5 business days. Hope the transaction is approved and the device gets shipped soon.
I've also mailed Google regarding tax-free forms for the purchase. Hope they cooperate and send those too (crosses fingers). I'll be refunded a good amount (if not all) of the VAT (57 euros) if they do.

Nope. I'm currently in Germany, but leaving soon. Decided to bite the bullet and order one. Hopefully it gets here before I leave. If not, my colleague will (hopefully) get it back with her.

Powered on my N4 for the first time yesterday. It showed the US version of Google Play... (Yay... books, music, movies now available)
What's more interesting is even through the browser it show the US play store since this morning. Even allowing me to order devices without a vpn :happy15:
