Yes, comGateway is the parent company. They have multiple brands which is in partnership with other companies and offers some extra benefits / features. For eg through HopShopGo you get a 10% discount on the shipping cost.

comGateway accepts payment through Credit/Debit cards and PayPal but since HopShopGo is exclusively for PayPal customers. you can make the payment only using PayPal.
 
Finally customs have cleared my phone. Called up fedex and enquired. Charges are INR 1137. Customs 800 bucks for 2 phones and i guess balance must be their handling charges. Must get it on Monday or tuesday. In the BOE saw a few others buying Nexus 4 lol.. grabmore too is on list.

FedEx is slow in clearing, but accurate, dhl gets it cleared in a few hours, but their agent is horrible, my package shipped to india by dhl express..

Grabmore.in, American bazaar are just startups, they have no supply chain.. Operated by a handful of people... From a private address..
 
varkey i had declared at USD 712 which was phone cost+local shipping. They have declared it on a CIF basis ie USD 739.8. Customs is 0 but they have charged some additional rate of 2% which was the 800 bucks.

The single page of BOE they gave me had 7 pieces of nexus lol.
 
^ Looks like it was cleared on the declared value itself. That's great.

The customs duty consists of various components like Basic Duty, Additional Customs Duty, Countervailing Duty etc. I guess the basic duty is 0 for phones.

USD 739.8 is including international shipping charges...

Currently the Status is Shipping estimate: February 13, 2013

On Feb 14: Google Inc. received your order.
and now it says "Your order has been sent to Google Inc.."

I called up Google Play Support Team yesterday & got the information that it was in pending stage till 14th Feb & went to processing stage on 15th Feb, No idea what this means

Please advise what I can do?
Do I need to worry or everything is fine
 
^ Google started processing your order only on Feb 14th, the Jan 30 date is irrelevant, its equivalent to an order placed on Feb 14th. Anyway now that the status is updated, it should be shipped in a week or so.

I guess its an error in their system, some orders move to Google received your order stage immediately after placing the order, while others do not. If the status doesn't change for 1-2 days, its better to place a new order.
 
Finally, mine reached India and are awaiting physical inspection at bangalore customs.. Will receive by Thursday...

only downside is that ishop will deliver in minimum 4 and max 6 weeks.

I just asked them.They say one month.However they assume that google will ship them in 2-3 weeks and another 10 days for shipping.It should be less than that.Considering this,is it a good deal??Also,do we get a sealed box??
 
Who said HSG gives open box? Google shipping time is 1-2 weeks as of now. But if you want your phone really fast ppobox or HSG will do it.

PS: My phones will reach my home in another one hour. But am stuck at office :(

Actually it gets opened at customs from what i read at XDA.ppobox and ishop somehow get that avoided.I think i can wait a little for some safety and convenience.:p
