Google Pixel 9 Series

They always give out really good offers in the us
And sucks with regards to pricing in india
Considering the lame service experience.

Overall the phones looks great and only thing I would want for it to adopt sooner would be the tscm chipset.

Why not also post the associated fine print.
Becuase the fine print is de facto standard in US. Very small group buy phones outright. Everyone is in contract with major telecom retailers.
I'm happy to get a free Pixel if that means paying fixed (reasonable cost as per Indian standards) to Airtel or Jio for 2 years.

Even upgrade offers in India are bad. Most people in US can get a free pixel watch with their order, and even get a nice upgrade deal. We dont
Exactly
The buyback offers in india for almost every single phone is bad

Whereas in the us
They get insane offers especially the galaxy series

What's the fine print? Carrier contract?
Well we already have a contract with ours without having a contract, unless one lives with incoming only, that too for one company only.
So basically fine print
You have to pay at least $2736 ($76/mo or higher service) over the next three years to get a carrier locked version for 'free'.

They have had a similar offer for iPhone 15 pro for some time:

Will let the Americans comment on the cost etc. since US plans are anyway costly. Folks generally loved the deal on X and reddit. And anyway it is almost a zero cost route for someone coming from very old Pixels.
