hey guys iv planned to increase my budget :D

So how much will a sapphire 5850 or a sapphire 5870 (512mb) cost me..!! and is there "ANYTHING BETTER" in the "NVIDA" Stable in the same range..??

AFAIK there are no 512 MB version of HD5850/HD5870

i think Kaunkaun is getting confused between 57xx and 58xx series

he was talking about GTS250 and gig 460w the other day and suddenly budget increased for 5870!! :p

Full HD will be tough for it for upcoming games though...
still...it should be able to play them at good settings..

in 8k youll get hd5750 from the stables of sapphire

and HD5770 from biostar
 
@kaunkaun: What you ask is kinda impossible even second hand cards sell for more.

I would suggest the 5770 from Biostar or as Sourav put it a 5750.

If you are open to second hand products you can get a 5770 which kinda defeats the point since Biostar is the cheapest offering.

my monitor has only vga and dvi slots.. :((

yes MSI HD 5770 stock is selling for 8.9k

and powercolor for 8.6k

your monitor has dvi slot, so where is the problem?

HD 5770 has dvi and hdmi ports too!

if your monitor has vga connector only, then you can use dvi to vga converter dongle
 
@sourav how bout the saphire one.??

and dvi is lower quality than hdmi na.. :(

price to performance wise the HD 5770 is a much better choice than the HD 5750..
Dont worry about the quality through dvi slots...its perfect....
i use VGA .. :p

It depends card to card..

but i prefer MSI over XFX..

XFX RMA service is handled by Rashi peripherals..

and they are tough to handle with..

( i am using my pc last one year with XFX 8600Gt 256mb DDR3 ram, now card is not working .. the capacitors on the garfic card is broken)

please suggest me a good one ..
