here in kolkata the shops are offering 8600gt 512 ddr3 for 5900 and 8800gt for 9200/- , but in the posts of this site it mentions 8800gt for 6500/- only?????:ashamed: so should i get 8800 from here????

KMD is a dealer in Tech Enclave. He gets stuff from the US(practically anything u want from websites in US). Just PM katmandude(KMD) and u can get all the things u want from the US.

The 8800GT u saw for 6-6.5K are goods imported from US through KMD. U don't get any service in India for those products but KMD does help u with RMA if anything goes for a toss. U have to pay the shipping charges and he handles replacement from the company.:cool2:

In TE, there are other dealers as well who sell lot of graphics cards for very good prices. U can contact anyone in the Dealers Paradise section for more info.

Moreover, u can specify ur need and the tech gurus here would surey help u in getting the best product.:)

And stay cool coz now u are in TE :ohyeah:

the shop actually is pretty small from outside n difficult to locate, just call them n get price over ph then visit....
 
if u can spend 10k odd on graphics card get the 4850:D...
keep in mind u need good smps for it...also post the rig specs u got.:)

he will send u price quote and u can order it from him , he will ship it to u when it comes . he will also get the card replaced from if anything goes wrong.

1gb ddr2 ram

:( sorry forgot to tell its 400watt zebronics power supply need to buy a good one .... can you suggest one that can run 8800gt it should be less than 2K
 
i would suggest going for Corsair vx450 @ inr3150 locally.

in 10k budget u can get vx450 n 9600GT.. OC ur 9600GT to level with 8800GT.

or else u can postpone ur gfx card purchase by 2months. most of the new games will be released after within next 2-3months n that may just bring down the costs of all the mid-high level cards. or u can go ahead n buy now if u have sumthin 2play eagerly.

not worth buyin those if its just gonna be used as an ordinary display adapter imo

buy the psu from somewhere else , from kmd psu will be costly to import as its heavy u can pm Amarbir for the psu :) . kmd warranty has no problem , if anything goes wrong just send the product to mumbai and kmd will get it RMAed and send back to u .
