GTA IV Will Be Out Dec. 3 for INR 499

this is really the sweet point at which all the games should be sold,even a student like me can afford this easily.

the alfa price will be even low ...yay!
 
Well, seems like the 499 pricing is a surprise for many and most of you don't seem to know that a huge number of PC games are released at 499 or 699 price point. I have purchased many good games at those price points when their XBOX 360 versions sell for 4 times the price, Only the EA, MS Titles and some heavily hyped up titles from other publishers are sold at 999 and above.

Check out your local Planet M, Music World etc, You would be surprised by the number of quality titles you can pick for 499 and less. These days many titles are retailing for 299 and 249. But it is still does not help curb piracy in a country like ours. People are like, why spend even 249/- when you can download it for free. After all to many Indians all, software and games are made free of cost and developers should be punished severely for trying to sell them for money !!
 
Atleast some1's learnt the hard lesson that the only way to curb piracy is to make games good and cheap...

I agree, if enough people buy it hopefully that will convince a lot of other publshers to rethink the prices.

so how many of u already pre ordered it ?

iam thinking about pre ordering it from nextworld do u think it is safe ?
 
At these rates, all of us wanting to play the game MUST purchase a legit copy, no excuses now.

If sales are high, I am sure many other distributors will follow suit with similiar pricing :)
 
OMG pc gamer review is out and it is said that the game has a wobbly frame rate on a 8800gt card and a dual core proccy O.o
