@prabs : That is indeed a sweet deal for you on the game!

About the updates on my shipment, I have been constantly checking the status on FK and this is what's showing now:

I even called up the local FK delivery guy (the one who usually brings all the parcels to my place) a while back but he said he doesn't have any parcels to my address with him. My best guess is I will recitative it tomorrow even though the Salt Lake (Kolkata) hub isn't far from my house at all.

This wait is killing me I tell you!

Right, so I managed to play the Prologue part (for the 3rd time now) and a couple of initial missions on the PS3. Visually, I think X360 has a slight edge, as it looks more vibrant with the contrast compared to the PS3 version. PS3 version has less pop-in issues and seems to have slightly less AA. I didn't notice a major difference in the frame rates, PS3 version was quite smooth. Now the major thing which is really pushing me to play it on the PS3 is the controls. I don't know why, but it seems to handle infinitely better on the PS3. Car handling is dead easy. I remember ramming my car all over the place when I took control of Franklin's driving mission on the 360. But on the PS3 I easily leveled with Lamar, without as much as scraping into another vehicle. The only thing I hate on the PS3 controller is the acceleration sensitivity, which is really arsed, all thanks to the poor R2 "trigger" design. I can't even tell how much pressure needs to be applied to check if the vehicle is at maxed out speed. It's really annoying.

Apart from that, I'd say Rockstar has made every possible effort to neutralize the differences on both the consoles. So both versions are pretty much on par and way better than how the whole GTA IV fiasco turned out.
Hmmm...Then i think the difference isn't much. How are the visuals compared to GTA IV? (As you may know on the console the visuals sometimes seemed like an upscaled 480p version)
About your R2 part its easy i am now used to it since i have completed both the DLC's on console. Just push he button till the end you will get full speed, middle gives medium speed and at around 10 to 15 Deg push will give slow speed when in vehicle. Though it may differ slightly from car to car.

It's certainly way WAY better than GTA IV. The colour tone and the setting is just so rich, that it makes GTA IV's environment look like shit. It's a combination of Ballad of Gay Tony (Night time) and L.A Noire (day time) visuals.

Nope you can pause and continue later.
Try using the proxy method so you have a backup of the file as well.

Once purchased you can delete the game and download it again 100 times as long as it shows under My Downloads section in PS Store.[DOUBLEPOST=1379437168][/DOUBLEPOST]:) loading.

@krishnandu - Here you go - Playstation plus

Allow me to answer my question from before. They could have made the deal better by handing my copy to the same courier service that they used for my friend. He received his and I don't even know where my copy is. Even FedEx doesn't have any idea

I envy you folks who have played & enjoyed GTA III, Vice City & San Andreas when they released. I'm tying to get this trilogy and hope that I'm abe to complete them. Unfortunately, this won't be an easy task to get them working in 1080p with 360 controller support. Wish Rockstar would just re-master these 3 titles in HD.

Dude you missed a lot. By lot i mean a lot. For me GTA III is famous for those awesome radio tracks & a mute protagonist cheated by his girlfriend.:D Vice city was the best due to maurice chavez & his show "pressing issues" and of course the scarface inspired locations and a good story(some funny easter eggs too). I think i spend around 100+ hours in san andreas. I found almost all the easter eggs in san andreas. Compared to these GTA IV stands nowhere. Yeah the story is ok but it lacks all those punches of its previous games. Lazlow's show was my only favourite program in GTA IV.
Eg:-
The pc version of san andreas and vice city have some cool HD texture mods to play with!

That does it! I'm going to complete GTA V first, grab Vice City and found a couple of mods to get the 360 controller working. So hope it can still be enjoyed. I'll look around for the same with San Andreas. If this works out, then it would be a Grand Theft Auto marathon for me.
