GTX6770 is crapping all over the HD7970

But power consumption is UNUSUALLY high.

Anyways, Oh crap! AMD

I'd have loved to see the TDP around 150W- 160W which could be awesome. But I wish the pricing should be more lenient in India almost near to $400 or 18-20K. It'd be

Don't get your hopes too high. This is a custom 670 at 1.2GHz, even a 7950 custom overclocked can beat a reference 7970. The stock card will be a good 10-15% slower than this.

i dont think you will get it for 18-20k in india with the present dollar to Rupee conversion. It should be around 25k minimum. We still have GTX570 in the market and obviously this should be priced more than that

Yeah it would be nearer to 25-27K ...really not nice at all.

But doesn't this prove that the GTX 670 is no laggard either. It will still decapitate the competition, for most gamers this is sufficient power. I think it will cannibalise its elder brethren the GTX 680 and 690 which will be a big relief for nVidia as they have not been able to fabricate enough GTX 680 cores.

Let us wait till 10[sup]th[/sup] May, I expect the over-clocking potential of this card to be just as good as the HD 7950. That will be enough to seal the fate of the aforementioned.

Expect further price drops from the RED Camp atleast for the HD 79** series cards.

Just like 7950 is worse than 7970 when both are overclocked, the fate of 670 will probably be similar when compared to 680 custom or equivalent 680 models.

And expect 670 to be priced around 27-29k in India.

I hope they bring out awesome mid range graphic cards too with so good price/performance ratio.

Finally nvidia is making a comeback
