For all of you who were prepared to dual boot vista just to play halo 2 :cool2: .
This workaround enables halo2 vista to be played on any xp machine having the required hardware.

MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED

OS: Windows Vistaâ„¢
Processor: 2 Ghz Pentium 4 class processor (or x64)
RAM: 1 GB
Hard Drive: 7 GB
Video Card: DX9 graphics card: WDDM driver, PS 2.0/32BPP, At least nVidia 6000 or ATI x700 or above
Online Multi-player: Internet connection for Games for Windows – LIVE
Drive: DVD-ROM drive


Well you can enjoy the campaign for a few hours until the "Please insert the halo 2 disc" prompt comes up (Before the gravemind level).
This issue can be worked around but None the fixes available worked for me :@ :@

Ermm, you cant copy paste other stuff here, we'll be no different then TT then. Just provide the link, and a short summary in your own words.
 
@greenhorn, yes legality is a bit of a doubt, maybe the mods and d admins can shed more light into this. IMO as long as this doesnt point to anything ermmm illegal its legal, that doesnt mean the TE server wont get into trouble for it though. MS can be a pain to deal with.

U'll find all the necessary instructions in there .. though i hardly consider this as a crack , more like a "Work-around" to MS bullsh*t ..
